This is the 90's to Early 2000's Raunchy Comedy turned up to 11. Honestly, it's a parody of the Raunchy Comedy, which makes it all the more hilarious. Love this movie.

Great video, kudos for being one of the few on KZbin willing to react to this. You're right about the script, a lot of scenes were improvised and made up on the fly. There were also some gags that Tom Green had come up with during the run of his TV show but couldn't do because they were too extreme. The scene where he wears the elk skin, for example, was inspired by an incident where Tom and his writing partner were driving through British Columbia while working on the show. Tom's writing partner spotted a dead deer on the road and excitedly suggested that they should do a skit on the show where he skins a dead deer and wears its pelt. Tom didn't want to do it because he thought it was too gross and controversial at the time but ended up bringing it back for the movie, where they could at least fake it convincingly instead of him having to actually do it for real.

🖤Yikes! I thought I've been getting alerts for new comments. Not the case or would have responded earlier. Ok so a lot of gags were just from stuff they didn't use for the show? That tracks LOL. I loved the Tom Green show. Only saw the MTV version for the most part, but was able to locate some Canadian episodes at one point.

The snooty waiter at the restaurant comes off as even more ridiculous when you consider that this film mostly takes place in Portland, OR. Like, yeah, they got some nice restaurants, but even at the classiest places, a waiter with that kind of posh accent would be 100x more obnoxious and pretentious than if you were somewhere like NYC, or even LA.

My god, for a stoned guy like myself atm watching this, when you slow down the audio, Tom goes from yelling random things loudly as he always has & coming across sounding funny & kind of annoying to sounding like he's been spawned from Hell or possessed by the devil .😂😂😂 And like Buffalo Bill from SOTL..☠☠🤣 Which, after watching this reaction & as a huge fan of this movie, maybe that just explains wth is wrong with Tom Green.. lmao. Maybe that explains just why he causes SO MUCH chaos everywhere his characters go.. Ones like Gordy in FGF, Barry in Roadtrip & Walter in Stealing Harvard just to name a few. In each of these, his characters are idiots & yet agents of chaos & destruction..lmao! Keep up the great work, my brother. You're killin it..❤✌🏻

🖤Back in 2015-2016 he had a stand up comedy special on Netflix that was surprisingly good. He did some of the typical "Tom Green" stuff with the wackiness, which I like, but thought he was going to lean too much on it. He didn't though. I want to say he's still doing stand up. When I see a new post of his on insta he's usually doing outdoorsy stuff hanging out with his dog. So if he's not doing too much as far as comedy/tv/movies (I hope he is) he seems to be still living his best life.

🖤Sorry I didn't explain it in enough detail, but I can understand the confusion. What I meant to say was, while on the set of Charlie's Angels, he was having lunch but wasn't very hungry so he only ate a small roll. This is important because Drew Barrymore noticed this and it's what initially started a conversation between these two and the rest is history. Yes... that's what I'll be telling people who notice that I spelled it "roll" XD.
