Well Freddy's whole thing is he needs people to know and fear him. He would've lost to Jason in his own dream realm had he not found a deeply hidden and forgotten trauma. Michael has no traumas or fears for Freddy to exploit.

Freddy needs people to be afraid of him before he has any real power. Michael, literally fears nothing. This makes complete sense.

@@allen-licious6894 As much of a madman as Myers is, he's canonically never encountered Freddy. How can you be so sure he wouldn't be scared of someone so different from his usual roster of victims? Also, Freddy doesn't rely on fear, but rather memory. He needs people to have memories of him, remember him constantly and never forget him in order for him to do his thing. He likes it when others are afraid of him, but it's not mandatory. Also, it's very likely that these two would never encounter, unless Myers falls asleep and Freddy traps him in a nightmare, in which case Michael isn't getting out of there alive. If Michael drags Freddy into the real world, then yeah, Freddy gets his ass whooped because he loses his supernatural gifts. However, if they are placed in a neutral territory, with both of them having their specific powerset, as it appears to be the case here, Freddy would mop the floor with Myers because of how much supernatural stuff he has in his arsenal so tell me again, how does it make any sort of sense? The only way for Myers to win would be to use his rather smooth brain a bit and simply try and ignore Freddy, to forget him and force him out of his mind, not actively fight him.
