What a great video. I love Freddie and was privileged enough to take a class from her years ago in Livermore. She signed my Freddie's House book and I have used it many times. Thanks Alex and Jean for a wonderful time.

Freddy IS AWESOME! I Love her art; you can feel her spirit in every quilt she makes. Red is also my neutral; nearly every quilt I make has a good portion of red in it. And, Jean Wells & Alex Anderson are phenominal as well. What I've learned from all 3 ladies has definately shaped me as a quilter! Many thanks, Ladies; you ARE sooo inspirational. Big hugs from, Sacramento, California ❤

I love this peek into the life of Freddy Moran. Thank you! Now I have set myself 2 quilt challenges in 2024 because of watching this - To make a self-portrait challenge and To make a quilt using the whatever-piece-of-fabric-is-grabbed-use-it challenge. Very inspiring! Also, I live in Oregon and so have had the pleasure of attending The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show many times. An incredible experience.

What a terrific visit with Freddy. I remember seeing her for the first time on Simply Quilts, and I was fascinated with her approach and her talent. I have been to Sisters once for the quilt show. It was breathtaking! Thanks for this beautiful look at a treasure of an artist.

It’s never too late to start your quilting journey. I started quilting a year after I learned to sew garments. At first I did not enjoy it so I stopped. Then I found out I would be a grandma and wanted to make all my grandson his burb rags and receiving blankets and two quilts before his birth. I had also made my daughter a quilt for her baby shower. That was in 2019. I love quilting and enjoy all the steps which is not always the case with quilting friends I talk with. Have fun jumping in.
