Freddy's Deception | S-Rank, No Powers, No Map | Ready Freddy (fan-game)

In this video, I show off my S-Rank playthrough of Freddy's Deception's first level (Ready Freddy) without using the tablet. This includes not using the tablet's powers or using the tablet's map.
At the time of playing this game, the tablet does not have any powers you can use anyway, so the least I could do was to disallow myself from using the Stun Orb.
I decided to show the cutscenes in this game unlike my other Dark Deception videos. That's because I believe people might not have seen this fan-game yet, so I felt that if I were to skip the cutscenes, the sequence of events might not be clear.
This game is a Dark Deception x Five Nights at Freddy's fan-game directed by Lysander & ThingyMajig.
I played v1.0.0 of the game and on Hard difficulty.

Sorry to keep you waiting. I've been very busy lately, but I saw this new cool fan-game and I HAD to make a video on it! 😆 I have more videos planned that should be coming in the near future (cannot promise when). 🙂 Also, you commented very quickly, I'm impressed!

Ya know, when I saw FNAF deception, I had a very different fan game in mind, but this! Never seen this one before and It looks pretty good! A bit of a shame it wasn’t say, Golden Freddy who showed up for the final chase or something. But maybe they are saving ‘fredbear’ for later. If your curious and looking out for another good DD fan game, I recommend Dark Deception: Gregory Horror show, based on a series of the same subtitle. Level one isn’t really anything special, just a standard Pac-Man maze, but things take an identity of its own super fast in the second level! And it’s certainly got care put into it, giving the characters their own spins in terms of voice acting….even if they do just use established scenes from the show (and video game adaptation) as a basis.

That's actually the fan-game I was going to play next! 🙂 I was going to keep it a surprise, but seeing as you managed to guess it, I just had to say. 😆 The second level is not available publicly yet. I can only play the first. But I'm excited for when level 2 does come out. 👍

Well played! I really like your style! One thing I'd like to add, though, it would've been nice if you explained the AI of the different enemies. I mean, you kinda did, but that's just me nitpicking :)

Thank you, I appreciate it. 🙂 That's something I was asking myself while editing, but it's hard to find the right time to explain enemy mechanics when there's so much other stuff happening. 😅 One of the things I was going to mention here 9:08 was that even though Freddy is really fast, he's not quite as dangerous as Lucky is in Dark Deception, but I think that's because the protagonist in Dark Deception moves slower compared to the one in this game. EDIT: it's also most likely because when we're dealing with Lucky, we have all 6 powers, whereas here we have no powers.

I know, I know, I did that so it was consistent with all my other videos. 🤣 I didn't use the Stun Orb though, and that's sort of like a power... right? I don't know. lol EDIT: I'm also preparing for the possibility that powers could get added in the future.

It isn't really a power. more of a bonus but if you like to challenge yourself then I'm fine with you avoiding it. Also that secret during the boss fight can be collected after the boss fight is done and you can return to the elevator however it takes an additional 30-40 seconds

@@sharkfan2 Idk. I even died twice with like 12 minutes (in early access version) however there weren't any gameplay changes from that version so no I wasn't cheating by playing an easier hard mode. I'm just that good I guess lmao

@@EmojixOfficial They dont do the Stun Orb at all in their challenges. I would use it as without your powers its a huge liability, but theyve managed to make it work so far. Though Torment Therapy may be completely impossible without powers or, at the very least, without using the Stun Orb. Well see when they figure it out lol

It's impossible to beat boss sequence without powers on hard difficulty. He is too fast, you can't even outrun him.

I played version 1.0.0 of the game, and in that version the powers didn't exist and the boss wasn't as fast. The game got updated about 2 weeks after launch, making it impossible without powers as you just stated.

It's going to take a lot of time for me to be able to beat that level tabletless, which is something I don't have much of at the moment. 😥 However, I am considering seriously grinding that challenge sometime in Summer next year (because it's only fair with all the other levels). If I make no progress at all, I might make a video explaining why it's probably impossible.

@@sharkfan2 Due to the Reaper Nurses AI it is an inhumane task to complete it tablet- and powerless. I think it'd be more than enough of a challenge to S-Rank without using Telekinesis and Vanish. It'd be not like the other videos, but certainly tricky enough for a challenge. You'd need to switch around with the powers without seeing which are currently equipped, and you'd only have Primal Fear to get rid of the nurses. Additionally, if you accidentally used Telekinesis or Vanish, the challenge would be a fail and you'd have to restart. Just an idea, because I don't think clearing the S-Rank in TT without ANY powers is humanely possible, even if you make an exception for the bossfight
