@@TESTICLETERRORISER Yes. The screenwriters for the movie actually went into full details about it. Instead of Freddy and Jason blowing up with Freddy's decapitation, the fight had them fall off the dock and fight in the water where they're sucked down through a spiral hole as the lake turns blood red and before Freddy can grab onto the dock, Jason grabs his ankle, pulling him down with him. After the sheriff and Lori's father apologizes while they jokingly argue who won, It ends with Freddy and Jason in hell ready for another round only for chains to pull each other back, as Pinhead steps out and asks "What seems to be the problem, gentlemen?" but New Line couldn't get the rights by Miramax who owned Pinhead.
