Google… No, Great Britain does NOT have an independence day. This is mainly due to the fact that the country has never actually been in a situation in which it needed to win its independence from another country.

Let’s be real here, UK was conquered by the french the danish and the Germans. And romans. Scottish king ended up becoming the English king the french king became the English king. Most royal families in Western Europe are all related to each other.

@@PeterLarter81 the french(Normans) ruled England for three hundred years standard teaching in English schools. So yes the french Norman’s did conquer England. You don’t have a Independence Day because Western European royal families took turn in ruling each other countries. Bruh it’s explicitly stated the British royal family is more German than actual British. King of Britain is Danish, Greek with German heritage.
