In this clip, Shawn Prez started off asking Fredro Starr about Jamal Crawford saying that Jay-Z’s impact on the culture outweighs Eminem’s record sales. Fredro called it the “great debate” because both artists have a huge impact on the culture, and he pointed out that it’s subjective. From there, Fredro said it’s like comparing BMW and Mercedes, and Fredro said that Jay has had more of an impact from his perspective. Fredro then spoke about working with Eminem, which led to Shawn asking about Sticky Fingaz having two songs with Em. This led to Fredro revealing that Sticky was about to sign to Aftermath, and Fredro stated that Sticky bodied Em on “Remember Me.” Fredro also pointed out that Eminem has said multiple times that Sticky is one of his favorite rappers, which led to him questioning the viral 50 best rappers list.

I've gone on record a number of times stating that 1993 is my favorite year, musically, especially for the '90s. 1993 is the year that I became physically invested in music. I started my own lil' CD/cassette collection. Anyway, it ain't about me. It's about you, Fredro. Jay-Z v. Eminem... Interesting. When Jay-Z released his debut LP, I was all in. My favorite is his sophomore LP. I also enjoy his third LP. After that, I'm a listener from afar. I was always aware, but not fully invested. I was just interested in other artists. He didn't do anything. I just...eh. To sum it up, I wasn't runnin' around and breakin' my neck tryna get to a Jay-Z song/LP. If I hear it, great. If I don't, great. Like I don't sweat it. Nah, Eminem, on the other hand...well... I remember hearing the Slim Shady record and saying, "Dang, why he sound like he speakin' through his nose?" He did absolutely nothing for me. _Cain't_ get on record and deny his impact though. Folks say he's unlike anything the world has ever heard, but I just don't hear it. LMAO at Jadakiss being #46 on a "Best 50 Rappers" list. Don't make nobody sense. I agree that Sticky should've been on the list. They slighted Treach as well.

Stick should have signed with Aftermath looking back, that co sign and production he would have had (I loved Sticks album though) would have gotten him crazy promotion but I guess doubling the up front money was the deal breaker for him with universal. Going with Dre was the move though looking back, that would have carried him further down the road... That Dre stamp would have made a difference.

I mean, you can say the same about Jay and how he boosted both Kanye AND Rihanna's career.
