My piano journey started 2 yrs ago. I am halfway through the Piano Marvel course and I am halfway through book one of the Alfred's adult basic course. I have a Roland FP 10 piano, E433, PSR172 Yamaha keyboards and an FM mod., plus a Panasonic SX-KC600 keyboard.I'm also shit-for-brains autistic. Did play trumpet professionally for 10 yrs.

You're the first KZbin teacher that has made things make sense to me, but I noticed that the individual notes in the first 4 chords you teach here are different than I've seen in other places. Can you explain please?

Hi John, thank you so much 🙏. Great question! Indeed, the root position of an A Minor Chord is ACE. In the first song, I play AEA, which is an alternate voicing of this chord. Similarly, AFA is a variation of the F Major Chord. Chords commonly appear in songs with these kinds of variations. I delve into this topic more thoroughly later in the course, accompanied by some great exercises.
