I was just watching your video on the John Deere app you’re discussing I have a 2020 X390 I download the app put in my serial number and it said this year is not supported yet I’m starting to get a little disillusioned with John Deere. But keep up the good work I Enjoy your videos very informative

Wow! Great information. Just found your channel and subscribed. Since you seem to be "in the know" about John Deere products, if you ever hear that they will be coming out with the "Smart Connector" for the D-130, please let me know as that is the model I own. I am looking forward to John deere creating the Mow tracking app and Bluetooth retrofit kit for the Z900 series. Hopefully the app will allow you to track multiple properties and multiple John Deere equipment that you would choose to use for various jobs. "Stand-on vs. Z-turn"

I'll likely start using the app here with my X350 although I'm not too sure how I feel about John Deere having all the data (even though it's not really any "secret") my concern is access to the data between devices (i.e. getting a new phone, selling my mower, or letting Deere get out of a warranty claim based on unreported maintenance) - I'll take pictures and a written log of the work I do to my machine outside of the app. John Deere doesn't have a perfect record around technology, their products and the end user - that said I don't believe they are the worst either (just most recognizable brand where they have chosen to limit what the owner is able to do). I'm very happy with my mower and would likely consider another JD when the time comes (only have about 100 hours on mine so it should be several years from now)

Got a question when the app asks what size deck it only says 48 and 54 . I have a 60 inch so will that make a difference? I have a Z 530 R. 60 inch

That is odd. I would see if you can go in after picking your deck size and manually change it to a 60". This will throw off your data some. Thanks for watching!

I tell you I ordered BUC10929 module for my z530 R . I Took the side off and plugged the module in. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the screw holes to mount . Not sure what the heck is going on . Plus it won’t even list a 60 inch and there is no way to Manually put it in . I would ask my local John Deere dealer but there not friendly. Oh well it’s not the first 100.00 I wasted. .

Yes, you will have to have to keep your phone on you to be able to track since it will work off of the GPS on your phone. No mowers come with the smart connector as a standard feature so you would have to purchase it. Good questions and thanks for watching!

Global support center sent me a email today . They said there is no time frame on getting the 60 inch added to the mowing app but they will . I’m really surprised that such a big company as John Deere didn’t think of adding 60 inch on there mowing option . So basically the mowing part is worthless untill tech fixes this . Wow

I’ve tried this app before and it didn’t track and log worth a damn. It said I mowed through my house, my neighbors place, the street and then gave me way off numbers in the end.

I dunno. I don't believe the app/adapter combo offers real value. If it functioned like an OBD2 reader as we see for cars and was an aid in troubleshooting and real time info on operating parameters, I could go for it. I mean, I know how to mow. I know how to take the deck on and off.

Does it remind you to buy a new AM141075 every three years?? If not, it should!! Last one I bought was 3 years ago and it cost about 75 bucks. Now I need another one and it's about $111.00 and it is the same pile of shit that has been replaced 2 other times!!!! This is also the second one that the bedding has become close to a liquid.
