The barbs card in itself is bad and nobody plays them . They were one of the first cards to get an EVO for this purpose (it was masked by the Evo Firecracker that every played at the time ..

To me, this is just a free 6k barb card. Used them to counter Mega Knights (when not in the middle of readying a jump) and Pekka. Honestly they could have just allowed players to select a free Evo like last year but with different evos like Evo Eletric Dragon, Cannon, Musketeer, and Wall Breakers. [Edit] They could have simply suprise drop a Barb Barrel or Barb Hut Evo for people to get for free from this event.

I’m a causal player and I used evolution shards to get the evo barbs, getting only 6,000 EWC is trash when other people are getting a whole evolution, much more progress. I don’t want to hear about Evo barbs being bad, I want to point out that everyone who already has them has lost the chance at progression versus those that didn’t have him.

What was so disappointing about it was that if you already had the EVO barbs, you were i stead given 6000 elite wild cards.. which is 12% of what you need to get a card to lvl 15.

idk, as a f2p player barbs were never an evo I wanted to purposefully use my wild evo shards on because they are kinda underwhelming. The extra hp and the 1 cycle evo are really cool and fun but that’s about it. i’ve also missed other events where they’ve handed out shards for free or in the case of last year’s Valentine’s Day event I chose my boy evo bomber. So when I saw I would get free evo barbs, and all six evo shards at that, it was actually a pleasant surprise for me. Because of this I’ve been able to pick up lava hound as an archetype and have been having lots of fun with it. at the end of the day I’m a casual player so my opinion probably doesn’t matter too much but that’s just my two cents.
