Sidonia I am very proud to say I’ve been with you for over 10 years now. Your designs always have an extra surprise in the design, this one is no different. I absolutely love how you worked the Half Tila Rivoli Bezel into a Triangular shape! Stunning!!! These earings are really pretty! Unfortunately I only have a faint idea of what tilas, o's, or bicones are, or where to get the material in Gemany. Amazon isn't of much help, when I enter "tilas" they show all sorts of things named "tilda".

:D :D you made me laugh! The o's mean the zeros of the seed beads sizes, like 11/0 or 15/0 (eleven o and fifteen o). And if you want to search for Tilas on Amazon, you should use a more specific title, like "tila beads" or even better Miyuki Tila beads or Miyuki Half Tila Beads. :) One last thing. Seed bead is a generic name for very small beads. I mentioned above the Rocaille or round seed beads, which are the ones used in my project. If you were to buy some seed beads, be sure you are not buying the Delica seed beads, unless you want to. Delicas are also Miyuki seed beads, but they have a cylindrical shape whilst the Rocailles have a donut like shape and they are not always interchangeable, because of the different shape. There are of course other brands of seed beads, and beads, but you'll find out about them on your own, if you'll get hooked on beading! I hope I've answered some of your questions. :) Szidonia

Don't laugh at me :(! . My mother tongue is English next to German. I've been living in Germany since I was a teenager. Beading was not anything people did when my family left Australia. So I have no idea of the terminology whereas beading is concerned. I ran across the beading techniques through a friend in the US about two years ago. Ever since I've been making bracelets and necklaces in deverse techniques. And I really like that kind of creative work. It's rather a shame that I can't use these in my art classes at school as it's a boy's school and the boys aren't interested at all. Thanks for the links, I'll see what I can get there.

I would never laugh about anyone, especially if they are asking questions about something they'd want to know more about. About teaching boys. I know there are lots of men who like making jewelry and I've seen some very beautiful pieces for men, out there, so maybe you just need to find the right style to teach the boys. :)

Well, I live in a big city but work at a school in the bavarian "outback" and the boys there are rather keen on doing woodwork and nothing else. But never mind, I enjoy making jewellery because I like it. And if others, like my pupils, don't, so what?
