Took a quick listen after making this. I can't believe they gave this one away for free! No doubt a paid version with more controls will happen in the future. Get it while you can: www.wavealchemy.co.uk/effects/

Hey Adam, this one sounds good, I must admit. Tried the ambience settings on a mix, and it fitted in perfectly. Almost invisible, which is the Bricasti mojo, well, at least from my experience using the Seventh heaven one. Can't believe they made it free 😅

That's good to hear! I briefly dove into it and it has that nice "bloom" quality to it that I hear with the real hardware. They should have sold this for $10 or $20 and made a killing hahaha. Either way, Wave Alchemy is now on my radar, I'll be digging into more of their stuff soon!

The developers confirmed on Gearspace that this plug-in is partially based on impulse response sampling and partially on digital signal processing programming. In other words, GOOD STUFF!

"Alright so just did the worlds fastest shootot, like 20 mins or so on a drum loop. The bad news is, like other Waves Alchemy plugins, it crashes Reaper frequently. Its unfortunate, because I built - through trial and error - what I personally believe to be the most rock solid and powerful system (at the time of build, having tried a plethora of systems, including Macs with both M series chipsets and the older Intel ones, and most of the major DAWs). PC, Intel I9 13900K chip, 64GB DDR5, nausea-inducingly fast NVME drives - with the current flagship RME interface, an Nvida 3080 just to load GUI intensive plugins, and Reaper. Its rock freaking solid. If theres one thing I hate its crashes, updates that cause incompatibility, and when things just dont work. I have way too many plugins, and none of them at all cause my DAW to crash....just Waves Alchemy plugins. So I dont like that at all. The good: on a quick listen, it sounds basically indistinguishable to the HW on the stereo drum source I tested it on. I just loaded up sunset sound chamber, since thats the default setting on Magic 7 (and a good one). Now obviously with the hardware you can change settings...but for using presets, this is great. It sounds more like the Bri than anything else I tested The reality is, any of the options can work well - but if youre looking for that sound, this is good - if it works. Its easily worth $100 or so in my estimation, but more testing is needed to really give that endorsement - and for me in its current state, it needs to be fixed before any of that. Kind of scratching my head as to why its free" Source: Rugginz on Gearspace gearspace.com/board/showpost.php?p=17233009&postcount=17

So, with that said, I'll probably use this plugin like I use the Bricasti on Access Analog...100% wet and rendered to its own track so it doesn't crash big mix sessions!

Free? But my data isnt free. In fact companies like this still make money off me through "free" plugins. If it was free you would not have to enter so much personal info

Good point. Use a VPN and enter in fake information then is my advice.
