Hello, thanks for this video. Is there a way to control the area between the endpoints? I've played with the parameters in the modifier but there is no such control. Or is it possible to convert it to curves? I've tried that too but it does not seem to work.

I've had this addon for a while but there is a issue with it which I'm not sure if it only happens to me or everyone has it but when you add the cables, they look amazing and all but the topology is intense. A single cable for some reason is like 1 000 000 triangles which really slowes down everything. The developer told me that I should increase the Segments Length but that reduced the triangle count by like 5% and they start looking like triangles and really ugly. If anyone knows a fix, please let me know because the addon is fantastic and I can't believe it's free.

Hi mark, Ideally doubling the segment length should half the number of triangles. So if you set It to 0.1 instead of 0.05 you should be able to reduce the tris count. Also you can open the geometry tree in the geonodes editor and decrease the resolution of the curve circle node (inside the curve to mesh frame) from 8 to 4 to further decrease the tris count. I will add this to the modifiers input in the next update. If you still need help kindly reach out to me directly and I will try my best to help you solve the issue. Edit: Just realised a major bug. All cables had a duplicate overlapping cable which doubled the tris count. Will be releasing a fix in sometime. Apologies for the issue. The fix combined with the above mentioned methods should be able to decrease the tris amount by almost 8 times.

I couldn't get this one to work. I'm new to Blender, and regardless of where I put the files it didn't install for me. Yes, I clicked install in the addons.

Many users have faced this issue because they unzip the file and install the init.py file which does not work. So make sure you are installing directly with the zip file. If you still face any issue please reach out to me and i will help you install it.

i've been using this add-on for a little bit now, i will say it's not as intuitive as it looks. it's awesome but i've been finding it extremely sticky, finnicky and irritating.
