yeah, cool, but that's so unoptimized, especially the connectors, you wou would want either to create your own ones or retopo each existing one. The cables themselves are easy to play with, and to make them resource-friendly, yet, the positioning and distribution is simply way too dull...

Never fully understood why the creation parameters have to collapse once a mesh is placed. But since I’m not a blender native speaker I thought it was just me.

@hjf4a2 I thought it was more like an architectural approach on how to keep track of mesh creation. As in: a primitive cube is made from a “cube generator” (with parameters or attributes that can be tweaked) and that generator lives as long as you decide to “apply” it. As seen in modifiers.

Out of speculation, you can probably turn the cables into active rigid bodies/softbodies and have them sway about with the use of a force field. So I would assume you can.
