We understand!!!! we avoid the LTVA in Q but up on Plomosa it's a bit quieter so we spend a little time there.

@@thewanderingshores I'm on Plamosa road tonight. My new day pack arrived, in Parker, today so I came down to Bouse to try it out over the weekend.

How ironic is that? I’m at Las Cienegas right now but have to move on Saturday. I’ve been there before, I went past the water tank and off to the south. It’s a favorite because of the wide open space and more dirt than rock, my dog appreciates it. I’m planning to start a a RV park for a night in Wellton to dump and fill. I knew about the Walmart’s, I used to deliver to them and there’s a big Fry’s and Walmart on the east side of town. I didn’t know about water and trash at the rest area, Thanks.

Perfect timing then, glad it was helpful!

Good stuff Shores. I've used the water at the rest stop a couple of years ago and found that there can be a bit of a wait, though it looked like you had it all to yourself.

There was a guy right infront of me when I arrived and he was doing his best to take a long as humanly possible to fill up his truck camper and put away his stuff, but after that it was all me.

Great video! Quick and concise, I like that you show maps and aerial views. Recently found your channel, my wife and I mostly boondock, so your channel will be a super resource for us!

Thank you so much! We loved the spot and the video. Really appreciate the great details about the dispersed camp area and the details for trash, dump, water, etc.... and adding this to the list, of course! Travel safe, always looking forward to the next video!

Since you like to remind people of BLM regulations, as you did the 14 day rule you mentioned multiple times, you might also mention that BLM regulations are that you have to camp within 30ft of a marked road.
@thewanderingshores13 күн бұрын
Thanks for pointing that out; we will make sure to keep that in mind in future videos, especially since we are often in BLM land.
@JasmineSinclair-i3n13 күн бұрын
@@thewanderingshores Not sure if this applies to all BLM. But about five years ago, a ranger came by warning people on the girl mind/sidewinder road of this. But that doesn't change the abundant space there because most of these tiny dirt roads are marked. Best of luck in your travels!

I was in east AZ 12 miles past the last boondockers, definitely several hundred feet into nowhere. A BLM Ranger showed up one morning. He said since I was so remote he was checking to make sure I was alright and ready to be there. We chatted for almost a half hour and he left in good spirits.
