Also I'm gonna positively harp on the game a bit, but I feel NL's not giving the game enough credit when he says it's a mindless time. The machanics themselves are fairly simple, but are all done in a way and with small tweaks that maes the fighting fun and skill-expressive. It's all about spacing, timing and baiting out attacks, while the ranged combat is about prediction and twitch aiming. The limited ammo, how easily it is to track people and close down distance also blends ranged and meellee nicely, and there's genuinely nothing quite like the end result of Darwin's combat out here. NL's reaction to every fight is pretty mcuh how you feel every time for the entierety of your playtime. It's great. It even fixes some personal isues I have with the genre, by giving you many tools ans reasons to track down people for exemple, it encourages proactive and aggressive play, where it turns into an ambushing cat&mouse gameplay. It ain't perfect, as I said, it's definetely simple while still having some meat, and when I stopped playing it had some balancing issues at higher level, as do most games, and it got pretty monotonous for some people, but with the new classes and the reworked way abilities work, this might not be such an issue anymore. Defninitely give it a shot!

I bought this game years ago, probably after watching you guys play it. One of the worst decisions I ever made since I wanted to play as the director and give everyone a fun game. Lol. Anyone who has ever played this game as director knows why I quit after a couple days. The game itself wasn’t the problem, it was the abysmal playerbase, one of the worst I have ever seen that pushed me away.
