These would be super cute as a Christmas tree ornaments too if done in smaller weighted yarn.

What a cute candy cane. I have trouble with the heavier weight yarn. I would probably use a smaller weight yarn.

Thank you! It will still work with a smaller weight yarn. I just don't know how small they will come out. Probably perfect for keychains or ornaments!

I feel like using a soft 4 weight (thinner blanket yarn) and then double stranding it tbh (red and white with this pattern)

I'd love to see it!

I loved the candy cane I have to say I've been trying to make some of your stuffies but with no success because of the magic ring I've just got it I done the change 2 method as I could not understand the second method you done oh I love you ❤ I am new to crochet just getting the hang of it but the magic ring was killing me but I've cracked it thank you so much Sara/Sarah not sure which way you spell your name

Can we use any yarn ?

I wrote this for plush yarn. I'm not sure how small they will come out in a worsted weight but the pattern will still work. I just don't know how small it wil come out.
