My take of this is that David is attempting to break the Internet by delivering what is probably going to go down the KZbin history as one of the best ever made KZbin CCNA courses. 🎉 I'm going to watch and rewatch it till I haved mastered all constructs. A BIG TIME THANK YOU, DAVID! YOU'RE AN AMAZING PERSON!!!

Thanks so much David when you mentioned that a lot of people when get into the real world and look at the devices they get confused this exactly happened to me and i was so overwhelmed that how they never show these things on which we are going to spent entire life. Again thanks so much.

Already did CCNA, started my own HomeLab with a couple of switches, servers, and a little FC SAN to prepare for CCNP DC. But, I think this will be very worth while to go through anyway, especially since I don't use much cisco equipment in my lab, as they are really expensive. I stick to Aruba HPE. But I can see a lot of value in this course. Excited to do it. I think it is also important to note that, while everything david said is true, you must be very comfortable using simulators/emulators, lots of devices are gonna be out there where you might wanna run on the simulator first, I find this especially true for the firewalls I use. I agree with you, learning classic iOS vs modern iOS is really important, there are other versions too I think which confuses me. FS, the biggest distributor of networking equipment that I know, also has iOS loaded on their switches I believe. And other brands like Aruba have a very similar CLI, to the point it confuses me sometimes. So perhaps it might be nice to do one of the normal CCNA courses along with this, or just try to do everything david shows in this course in the emulator on your own as well, I know I will haha! Anyway, i don't know how david is going to conduct the course quite yet. He just released this video, alright, many thanks david. I really hope you do some higher-level courses too like CCNP and CCIE. I am in a sort of weird position, being a full-time systems developer, I spend a lot of free time studying networking, and network programming is one of my favourite domains. Not interested in security though, for some reason. Programming network protocols etc is really fun. Edit: It's been a while since I came to david's channel, maybe 2-3 years (I was just focused on programming), the editing quality is insanely better compared to before I think, really happy to see this channel doing so well even today. I don't think anyone else did a series like this before, thanks for being a pivotal character to networking community. P.S I really hope you go deep into compatibility and transcoding issues on SFP/QSFP modules and when and when not to use different fiber cables/modes/connectors/DACs, I wasted a good amount of money messing this up and learnt the hard way when I first started.. And just more about cables in general, like solid/stranded, shielded, grounding, adverse effects of not doing it properly, especially in PoE environments etc. I think these are real practical things you'd come across in the real-world. Different CAT systems, all the types of tools, usually especially to do a single thing.

Freshers just starting their careers are incredibly lucky to have such material available on KZbin. Devices like the 100GB SFP are so rare that you might not even encounter them unless you work for a very large ISP. The amount of information David has packed into this short video usually takes years to learn. But don't let that intimidate you-videos like this are truly helpful and a real confidence booster when preparing for interviews or new job opportunities. Congrats David and Thanks for making such content.

Is your entire course ready to go? This approach is light years ahead of other resources. Would absolutely pay for such a course. Even with this teaser it’s succinct straight to the point, contextualized, understanding (breaking through gates instead of keeping them), hands on very easy to make mental connections integrate information shared into actionable steps. Much faster efficient and practical learning then the dreaded “slides” or long hand paragraphs with concepts buried within that must dug out in unnecessarily large textbooks. Possible to see this entire course anytime soon? Would like to complete this cert, it’s a cornerstone in this industry. Thank you for all your efforts and your entire channel continues to inspire.
