Fretless three-string cigar box guitars are unique and offer a different kind of playing experience to regular six-string fretted guitars. I find them easier to pick up and play, especially for beginners. The ability to play one-finger chords with a slide is truly amazing! If you're interested in learning how to play this instrument, there are plenty of free online resources available. When I built my first fretless CBG, I spent hours searching the internet for tutorials and lessons. I eventually stumbled upon great videos made by talented players, which helped me kickstart my CBG playing journey. This playlist is a compilation of those videos. I highly recommend checking it out!

I agree; live real-time communication with an instructor can accelerate learning in music. I myself am beginning my slide-playing journey. But, I look forward to sharing what I've learned via live stream. I've not put a schedule together, but I'll keep everyone informed in my community posts. ✨🎶
