Short answer: both. Around 2008 I was working on a TV show & was looking for Free effects to use. At the time there were surprisingly few available. So I began trying to create my own. After a couple years I felt confident enough to upload some of them to my KZbin channel to help others who might need them. A month or two later I started VidiotsChannel.com to make downloading easier (not a lot of ways to do that back then either). The channel & website don't really make enough to support the hobby but I'm hard headed and kept at it for 13 years hoping to help out other people. Outside of youtube & the site I upload to 3rd party Stock footage sites, create commercials, shoot events, create graphics & the occasional TV Show or pilot for others.
