@Kanguin25 ай бұрын
Loved this video, mad respect for the dedication to this consistency. Things that stuck out to me: - The sudden point in your 20s where your head just got longer - The dancing mustache around the 1:30 mark - The beginning of the hoodie phase in your late 30s, when never wearing one previously (moved somewhere colder?) - Next to no acne in your 20s, but crazy forehead acne from your mid 30s onward (major sympathies) - Easily fought back facial hair early on, but by your late 30s the mustache gets harder and harder to kill (exaggerating for dramatic effect lol) And overall it's wild to realize that as we as people age, even if our face shape and skin texture might not change, the even-ness of skin coloration goes down as we get older. In our 20s our skin is mostly even-toned, but by our 40s, some areas are ruddier and some are chalkier/paler. It's fascinating, I wonder why that change happens. Overall, phenomenal dedication to this project, and the presentation here was fun to watch!

@@markm0000 I'm aware that the photos are repositioned/cropped to make the eyes line up perfectly. But it still takes a lot of care to position your head straight towards the camera as it's very easy to turn too much to one side, have the head tilted too far up, etc.

I had the same thought. Consistent background: blank white wall. No guarantee it's the SAME blank white wall, but it looked pretty consistent to me! And sure, you can crop a bit to make sure the eyes line up, but there was VERY little variation in the tilt of the head in any direction, and the focus was the same. Has he used the exact same camera this whole time, to make sure the focal length is the same? This is one of, if not the most, consistent one of these I've seen. Usually there will be a change in background when people go on vacation or move houses or something, and their lighting or camera might change. This whole setup was 100% consistent! That's impressive!

This is 9,125 days/pictures. Try running it at 2x speed. To get an even faster view, run it manually with your finger along the red progress line on the bottom. We used to think that our cartilage never stopped growing, but it actually does when we're about 20. What you’re seeing are the effects of skin changes and gravity. Other parts of your body change in the same ways, but your ears and nose are more noticeable, so it's interesting to watch his nose and ears begin their lengthening that will accelerate somewhere between the ages of 35-50 for most people. However, our skulls (and pelvises) do continue to grow slightly so you can see the forehead lengthen somewhat. Your skin, cartilage, and muscles, however, continue to change even after your skeleton has stopped growing. Weight changes, pregnancy, changes in fitness levels, and injuries all change your body throughout your life. In addition, time weakens the connective tissues in skin and cartilage. This weakening is what leads to changes in your ears and nose. At about 2:00, is where he starts losing the baby fat in the cheeks and you begin to see the laugh creases at the sides of his mouth. At 4:10 you see creases begin next to the nose. This is a fascinating look into the development of the human face from being a young man to one approaching his middle years and the effect gravity has on the human body. Bravo sir! One has to admire this kind of commitment, never taking a break or a day off. That thumbnail though! 🫡🫡🫡
