Thank you for making this free. Always been spoiled by DevOps engineer in companies I've been to where I don't have to deal with docker or cloud stuff but with all the layoffs this year, I think it's wiser to upskill on things I have little to no experience to be relevant in the industry.

Hey, most of the jobs I'm researching about are requiring 3-5 years experience for even "entry-level" roles, I'm currently working as a project admin at a software company and would like to transfer into a career as a solutions architect. I'm wondering if companies will consider my personal projects and previous experience as a PA would be directly transferable to an SA role. Any feedback or insight would be really helpful for me!

I (and many of my friends) got our first jobs via home lab/personal project experience. People care about capability and this can be built easily enough without on the job training.

@@LearnCantrill Thank you so much for the response, I'm planning to get all 3 AWS certs within the coming months, don't know how long it will take me, then try to convince my current employer to allow me to facilitate some projects for them on the AWS side as well as work on personal portfolio projects, wanting to start a solutions architect position within the next 6-8 months!

Hi, I'm planning to buy the SAA-C03 course. But I'm preparing for the cloud practitioner certificate. Since I don't have time to complete entire playlist from SAA-C03 course, can you suggest which parts should I watch to pass cloud practitioner certificate?
@LearnCantrill Жыл бұрын
that's not really how it works. You can study for saa-c03 and pass both cloud prac and saa .. but there isn't really a split where "this is enough for cloud practitioner".

'the rest' ? well this is a fundamentals course, what "rest" do you mean? there will be more deep dive stuff coming in a separate course which will be released soon.
