it is not working for me. I have unchecked the setting and I installed the free plugin in Mac Mini but I am not getting an option to drag and drop the png on effect. I followed all the instructions in this video. please help

Hi, no problem! It comes as two plugins, as an effect and as a generator. It sounds like you are using the effect. Go to your effects panel, under generators, paper animator. Drag that onto your timeline. That will have the drag and drop feature!

Been playing with it a bit and it looks great. I think it could be improved, though. First of, either make us turn of they Keying feature or make a version without the Keying feature. Because if you use this with a .png that contains the color green, it gets, of course, keyed out. And I also think you could remove the "file" part. If you just leave a merge node at the beginning of the chain with a non-attached Foreground connection, then publish that connector in the macro. Then it should work as an instant drag-n-drop effect.

Oh - I can open the effect in Fusion and delete some keyframes and set shaking to min/max 0 - no problem!

I believe there is a bug in resolve that causes this with the bundled media I used. This is the best solution I’ve found at the moment, however I’ll continue to see how it can be improved

Great effect, thank you. Downloaded & installed, no problem! I would be interested in seeing a Magic Mask example rather than a green screen clip and I noticed another commenter said they had successfully used that method. However, it would be best to use the Fusion Page Magic Mask because the Color Page Magic Mask is a temporary tracker. Once returning to the Edit page with a Color Page Magic Mask, using certain inspector adjustments like transforms will cause the tracking to disappear. This issue does not occur with a Fusion Page Magic Mask, so I understand.

Paper Animator is also a "Generator" which has the drag and drop feature you are mentioning! It's in your same toolbox window under generators instead of effects. Generators > MrJustinEdits > Paper Animator Pro

Hey Yamil, great to see ya! Yeah, that setting has to be unchecked or the render won't work. I think it's the loader nodes that cause issues when it's bundled. But anyways, as long as that is unchecked it should work like gold :)

I solved this by copying a media in1 from any source in another fusion tab by pressing strg+c and copying it into the fusion page of the paperclip and then connect it.

Green Screen Paper Animator is setup for 24fps and 30fps timelines. If you are on a 60fps timeline, it would go crazy like your describing! I hope that helps, but feel free to join the discord for further help/questions/suggestions :)

Love this. Be easier to install if it was a drfx file. Also is there anyway to just drag and drop this as an effect onto a png? Im having trouble dragging and dropping from my imported libary as the inspector changes to what im clicking on. So i have to minimise and find the png from my project folder and drop it into the inspector.

Yup, single clicking on a clip in the media pool will re-assign the inspector panel. Click and HOLD to drag clips over without changing that inspector panel. Please join the discord for support and suggestions, enjoy!
