Appreciate the effort of the engineer couple. It is inspiring for young engineers towards innovation and entrepreneurship. While this works perfectly as per physical laws, but practically not feasible for higher loads. My suggestion to innovators is to create portable models for small loads like mobile charging and lights for use in remote areas where power is not available.

So there is energy consumption involved and coming to multiplication of energy (which means torque) it is purely based on gears and friction. It can be a simple system like car gear box for our assumption. They are not claiming that it'll rotate on its own and produce the electricity forever by consuming the energy once only to start the machanism . Please Go through the techincal papers before defeating someone's statement.
