Detailed and simple explanation . Nice work .This is my personal view . At one palce 41:30 , the speaker mentioned Security list applies at subnet level and NSG is applied at VNIC.This seems to be an incorrect statement and puts a wrong perspective . Both security list and NSG are applied at VNIC level .The difference is Security list is applied to all VNICS (Instances) with in the subnet , where as Through NSG we can give access to VNICS (instances ) of our choice , basically if we want to restrict at machine or group of machines with in a subnet . Might be the speaker intent is right but the statement seems to lead to a false understanding . Oracle doc says .. "Security lists let you define a set of security rules that applies to all the VNICs in an entire subnet." "Network security groups (NSGs) let you define a set of security rules that applies to a group of VNICs of your choice" docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/Network/Concepts/securityrules.htm#comparison
