You have to turn it quite hard to lock it in properly to the clip. I have a few of them. You also have to turn it the opposite way to unlock it from the clip.

The button is rather difficult to depress. Especially with gloves. I am confident that they won't go off by accidental presses. So I guess that's good. Plus you won't be pressing the button that often unlike a normal flashlight, this would stay on hours. For most people you'd only press the buttons maybe twice a day if even that. I love how light they are. The kit I had I wish they'd implement the center dock thingy as a charging dock too. That's be neat. Gotta say though, they're simple and I love them.

Very easy to detach. Olight could have done better making a lock for the unit. As a LEA, quick sudden movements can detach the gober. Happened to me before and I was surprised it was nowhere to be found. This is for minimal movement/activity only.

I think its a great light. Really do wish Olight would have made their gober/arkfeld UV bundle available in neutral white so those that prefer neutral instead of cool white could get the bundle and save some money. Probably going to skip on the bundle for this reason which is a shame because I really like the gober but can't justify the extra $24-$30 to get the tint I want in the arkfeld UV.

I contacted Olight, and they said they have limited quantity of NW, so they didn’t bundle it.

I’ve got one of these from Olight when I signup with their online store. Its one of those that have its usefulness and its light to carry about. The better version comes with gps locator iirc, I think is the better version, although it comes with a price tag too. Cheers for the review.

It's a shame that they couldn't make it submersible though, it's rain resistant by specs but that doesn't mean that I trust it to be so. I'd always assume an actual performance is a certain percentage poorer than the specs that are tested in ideal conditions with no wear so IPx4 just isn't waterproof in my opinion, especially when all their other products are rating at 7-8.

It likely lasts so long because it's very dim. I guess if you are OK with that tradeoff then, OK, but I was surprised at how dim it is, and why in the hell the lens is frosted and how little light it projects from the side. No surprise they are giving it away as a loss leader hoping you'll buy something that's actually good, which is normally the case for Olight. This is a non-starter.

Bought one of these a couple weeks back, now searching if I have a faulty one. The light doesn't really securely click into place on the holder for molle panel. It's dowane positively lock into the holder. It's very loose. Found your video and would like to know if your is the same?

Mine clicks into its holder but it requires a LOT of force. You really have to put your back into it.

just a little tip, if you twist it alittle further it will go into a stiff detent and I cant imagine it ever accidentally coming loose once in the detent

Not worth it. They look nice, but they’re just not that bright. Spend a little more money and get the guardian angel! The GA is a real alert light.

Oh, not you too with that to expensive olight stuff, with not enough power, to much heat, to cold light color but fancy alloy colour. And it's not free, you have to buy a lot of that to expensive bad stuff and this is only for there guilty conscience about thant i think. 😂😂😂😂 Show better other stuff. Or say normal price for it to it.
