Those who dislike this, are those who want to be their own "redeemer" or "co-redeemer". Pride is the root of their unbelief.

Jacob Becomes Israel Praise the LORD . I just love to hear the gospel of the grace of God over and over again. the Bible is becoming more and more understandable (that's not to say having the Bible totally figured out) but looking at the Bible through lens of free grace and/or the doctrine of eternal security of the believer (i.e. once saved always saved) , the Holy Spirit of God is truly guiding me to all truth, teaching me all things, bringing all things to remembrance and testifying the LORD Jesus to me by way of this man of God, Dr. Ralph Yankee Arnold. Praise Jesus!!!!! once saved always saved in HD (high definition). A

DIVINITY BAY 2cor 5:5. The church discipline(disfellowship) and chastisement of the Lord is to bring one to repentance that they might save THEIR SPIRIT. We cannot walk in darkness/sin/the flesh and have fellowship with God. Those who die OUTSIDE OF CHRIST will not go on to be with Christ. Those who God says to break fellowship with because of unrepentant sin will not contradict Himself by having fellowship with them for eternity. Sin can cause one to LOSE THEIR SOUL!(1peter2:11) God bless u my friend!

@DIVINITY BAY Should we change our mind and continue sinning? I am not threatening their salvation...I am correcting, for them to get saved. @DIVINITY BAY Ever learning and not coming to the understanding of the truth. We are under the Law of Christ and not the Law of Moses...please understand how to differentiate between the two. Christian are not without a Law, we uphold the Law, that is the Law of Christ, we walk in truth; we walk in the Spirit. I am not here to cause a strife. But to share what the word of God says...for correction and reproof (2 Tim 3:16) Galatians 5:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which WORKETH BY LOVE. 2 John 6 King James Version (KJV) 6 AND THIS IS LOVE, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 1 Corinthians 7:19 King James Version (KJV) 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. Titus 2:11-12 King James Version (KJV) 11 For the GRACE of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Hebrews 12:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: ***God bless you.***

DIVINITY BAY You quoted it yourself. We can FALL FROM. GRACE AND CHRSIT WILL PROFIT US NOTHING. Galations written to HOLY SPIRIT FILLED BELIEVERS. Not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom but only those WHO ARE DOING the will of my Father. We must continue,by the power and grace of God , to DO the will of the Father. Believing in Jesus is just the start of our race. We have to finish to recieve our final salvation on the day of the Lord. We must KEEP THE FAITH. Nobody who lives in sin HAS FAITH IN JESUS, disobedience is synonymous with UNBELIEF(see Hebrews). God bless u always!

Repentance is a change of mind which , if genuine, will resul t in a change of ACTION. God repented from the evil He was GOING TO do to Nineveh AND DIDNT DO IT. when we come to Jesus we must repent of not just belief of Him but of our life of rebellion towards God and of doing things OUR way. If we believe Jesus is LORD then we must repent from US being Lord to HIM which means turning from Our will to HIS WILL. If we don’t , then we either choose to rebel against our king or we don’t really beliveve He is Lord. God bless u

@@SniffingOutPharisees-DanielP How to simply be saved. Step 1 Repent and renounce sins. Step 2 Believe that Jesus died and rose again. Step 3 Be water baptized. Step 4 Receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Each of you must REPENT OF YOUR SINS and TURN TO GOD, and be BAPTIZED in the name of Jesus Christ for the FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS. Then you will RECEIVE THE GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT. Acts 20:21 I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike-the necessity of REPENTING FROM SIN and TURNING TO GOD, and of HAVING FAITH in our Lord Jesus. REPENT and BELIEVE.

If our Spirit cannot sin(as this man says)then why does Paul tell us to cleanse our body and SPIRIT of every defilement and to bring holiness to perfection? (2cor7:1)

DIVINITY BAY Paul is speaking as ONE UNDER THE LAW. This was not Paul’s general way of life. He kept a clear conscience and said to IMITATE him as he imitated Christ. PAUL WAS NOT A SINNER. Romans 7 is a CONDEMNED person and we know there is NO condemnation for those who ARE IN CHRIST JESUS. If we have the attitude or experience of Romans 7, we are not presently IN CHRIST, we are IN THE FLESH. Hope this opens up your understanding. God bless u friend.

DIVINITY BAY You cannot find ANYWHERE in scripture that calls a Christian a sinner. They are saints. Yes, nobody is SINLESS. We all HAVE sin but that doesn’t make us a sinner ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE. Sinning, walking in darkness, living according to the flesh is what deems one a sinner. No sinner has eternal life. We are EITHER wicked(sinner) or RIGHTEOUS(a saint). Paul did not live by the flesh. Paul rebuked the Corinthian church for being CARNAL. If he was carnal , it would make him a hypocrite. My friend, this sinner doctirne is not scriptural but a teaching of man. It actually originated with Martin Luther. He got it wrong. God bless u friend

DIVINITY BAY We all HAVE sin that’s why we all CONTINUE to need the blood to CONTINUE to cleanse us from ALL unrightoeusness. The difference is the sin we have(we u knowingly commit out of ignorance or sin we have repented of and still fighting) vs . WILLFUL, unrepentant sin. That’s why 1 Johm ALSO says anyone who sins is of the devil. If we all are sinners then we are all of the devil! Also says anyone who is born of God DOES NOT SIN. It doesn’t mean that they don’t ever make a mistake but thst is not their way of life (as a sinners is). . It is about DIRECTION NOT PERFECTION. If you are walking in the light and keeping wirh repentance , and a clear conscience before God then u my friend ARE NOT A SINNER. Don’t sell yourself short! But if you are sinning, walking in the flesh, then u must repent becaue u would be a sinner under the law of sin and death. If we are walking in the Spirit,following Jesus , WE ARE SAINTS! Again I ask to show me in scripture where a Christian is called a sinner. Romans 7. Is obviously not Paul’s way of life. This could be describing him BEFORE Christ or could be when he has went off into the flesh after coming to Christ. We can obviously do this, we can trust in oursleves or look to the law to overcome sin rather than to Christ and trusting in His power. This will lead to condemnation which Paul spoke under in Romans 7. Again , this is not Paul’s way of life, living under condemnation and under the law of sin and desth, if it was , then he would be a sinner on his way to hell. Be careful of everything you hear, most Protestant preachers are taught Luther and Calvin before the Bible. This is a doctrine of men. We are either SINNERS OR SAINTS(not a mixture). In ADAM OR IN CHRIST. On Jesus’s LEFT OR RIGHT. Rightoeus or unrighteous. If u are a sinner then u are under the law according to 1peter1:8-10. And will be separated from he kingdom(mt13:41?) God bless u always

Flee from Ralph Yankees greasy grace teachings, he uses scripture as well but wrongly handles it to justify sin. 1cor 16:13,14 “BE ON YOUR GUARD, STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH, BE MEN, BE STRONG, DO EVERYTHING IN LOVE” God bless u and keep you steadfast in the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ and present you blameless in body soul, and Spirit on the day of the Lord in Jesus name. @@billerickson5604 So if there is no condemnation for those in Christ as Romans 8:1 says, then why are you putting others back under the law of condemnation? Have you ever read Romans 4:4-5? Romans 11:6? How about Ephesians 2:8-9? Do you even know what a gift is? How about propitiation? We are justified by faith, not by our works. The works come AFTER we are saved. If we want eternal rewards, and to avoid God's chastening, we want to live a holy life, but our salvation is NEVER held in jeopardy whether we remain faithful or not. For you and others who are under legalism, you cannot say that you ARE saved, but that you are "being saved" by your "continuing in the faith", (another word for WORKS).
@billerickson56046 жыл бұрын
Rom 5. Says we have access into this grace BY FAITH. What kind of faith?(james2). A SAVING faith, one that obeys. One that WORKS THROUGH LOVE. Grace is not a one time gift. It is a gift that keeps on giving. What are we doing we the grace he is giving right now? If we are recieving and yielding to the Spirit (of grace) FRUIT (good works and character) WILL BE produced. If we are receiving it IN VAIN, no fruit will be produced and in danger of being cut down and thrown into the fire. Worse yet , if we are using it as a free pass or and excuse to sin (or at least a “cover up”) then we are actually INSULTING THE SPIRIT OF GRACE AND GREATLY ANGERING GOD AND ONLY HAVE A FEARFUL EXPECTATION OF JUDGEMENT AND OF RAGING FIRE TO LOOK. FORWARD TO ON THE DAY OF THE LORD. Pleas consider these things. Ask yourself if you even are receiving grace. If you are , WORKS WILL SURELY FOLLOW (johm15 PROMISES THIS) No fruit = no grace No grace = no forgiveness No forgiveness = damnation. God bless u

Bill Erickson 10 Bible verses that prove faith alone for salvation not faith and works “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV “just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;” Romans 4:6-7 ESV “For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.” Romans 10:3 ESV “For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17 ESV “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.” Romans 5:18 ESV “and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith-” Philippians 3:9 ESV “the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:” Romans 3:22 ESV “For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:3-4 ESV “For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness."” Romans 4:3 ESV “Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,” Romans 4:4-5 ESV

He has to be a universalist, right? After all, he says grace has to be given equally to all. Therefore, the grace of salvation must be given to all, aka universalism. I smell an inconsistency.
@audrabrown56205 жыл бұрын
Josh Peterson He is talking about the difference between the gospel and Calvinism. Grace is offered to all, according to the gospel. Calvinism states it is only for the elect. I hope that helps. God bless.
@joshpeterson24515 жыл бұрын
Audra Brown, I understand synergism, that God “offers” grace to everyone, but leaves the decision in their hands. However, when Yankee says that grace is “given” “equally” to “all,” there are only two options: 1. Everyone is saved, 2. You have a puny, weak God whose grace can only try and will sometimes fail. I prefer the biblical God, whose grace is sufficient to save anyone He lavishes it on.
@audrabrown56205 жыл бұрын
Josh Peterson I originally thought you had just misheard him because he expands upon it to state that grace is OFFERED to all. It appears as though you are intentionally misconstruing his words by taking them out of context. God isn’t puny. He has given us all free will. It’s that simple. You appear to be Calvinist, alluding to irresistible grace. I used to be a Calvinist until I understood the simplicity of THE gospel.
