unrelated question - do you agree that premiere pro runs entirely on one core of your cpu (and of course makes use of dedicated gpu) - when editing heavy 4k projects (with transitions, motion graphics, color grading, effects, multiple 4k files, multiple audio files - the whole shebang) - in other words; no advantage to getting a laptop with an 8-core cpu vs 6-core if you’re not going to be multitasking with other apps or processes running? i’m trying to decide on a laptop..if you can help thanks so much.

Nope, after effects only, effects like this are best done in AE.

I am getting the Error: Permissions issue with user data folder - Please give AE full read and write permissions to the ~/Library/Application Support/Aescripts/test folder. I gave grated permission, and even created the Folder, but the error persists ... any help with this?

@@joeryland Kind of. I found a plug-in called "Unmult". I believe the old version is free. That got rid of the black. It's more of a work around than a fix.

@@joeryland I switched off some layers (Glow, Perpendicular scan lines), and in the "Rays" layer I canceled the effect "Solid Composite" . Where I needed to mask I used my footage as alpha, I also changed some layers mode, hope this helps! Good luck
