Thanks for watching guys!! Sorry about the loud rain and hail hitting the metal roof in the shed 😩. For the ones that don’t know, my channel was severely hacked on april18th and I just got it back, I lost a lot of subs and the algorithm really kicked me out so it’s going to be tough road getting back to we’re the channel was, so if any of y’all want to help support the channel just watch the whole vid, like and subscribe (gosh I hate asking people to do that). If you want to help in a more direct way you can always support the channel by buying a coffee. www.buymeacoffee.com/albericidav Thanks y’all! I’m glad to be back!

The Sleeping dude is the worst for begging that I've seen. He's pretty knowledgeable about cars, but during his videos they have a infomercial about buying merchandise. Hats, shirts, key chains, even coloring, drawings and paintings that his children does. Dogs, cats, chickens, Goats and pigs walking around pooping in the garage area where they're working. Nastiness,. He will also give his p.o. box info for gifts.

Yeah when you put something away or you don't plan on using it for some time you should at least cover it up run the fuel out of it put steel wool in the carburetor so that mice can't get into it and in the exhaust roll the bike up on top dead center with both valves closed because you don't want anything getting in the cylinders and then that will help ensure that

Alright! Good one! That Rancher sure was nice! New tires, winch with synthetic rope and Super ATV disc brakes! I had the same fuel tap issue when I got mine and I changed the tap for a non brand. That only lasted a year and it never really could turn the fuel fully off. Replaced it with genuine Honda last year. Now I have a fuel leak from the fuel bowl so I got a new gasket for it and also an oil leak! It is from where the stator cables exit at the rear of the engine. I think I got a stick or something up there that destroyed the gasket. I think some Honda bond will take care of it! Regarding your Honda, I think the one way bearing is getting worn and it might have been a illusion but it seemed like the steering was a bit loose, steering ball ends maybe? 2003 Honda Rincon 650, Owned since new, 9471 (just checked) miles as of now. No rebuilds.. Can see it on my channel, still trail ride it n run it. Buddy has a 2004 Rincon 650 with 14k miles n still running perfect. Get the wiring bypass kit for that ES..

Great find. I wish I could come across one. I have been wanting an ATV for a while. I have a Triumph Tiger 1050 to trade. I just haven't gotten around to it. But if I could come across one that needs a little love that would be even better.

My 2004 Honda Rancher would've had that many miles or more if only it hadn't been the Rancher 400 AT.... That dang Hondamatic transmission gave up at 8,000 miles. I should've kept my 2003 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 with the foot shift. But.... I took it in for some warranty work on the last day of it's 6 month warranty and the new for 2004 Rancher ATs were there and as I was looking one over, the salesman came over and talked me into trading bc I was intrigued by the beltless automatic concept. What I got was less power, no low range, and a transmission that was not long term durable even though I changed my oil every 1200 miles with Amsoil and is crazy expensive to replace.

I feel your pain the rancher 400 at was probably the worst atv they ever made! The 350 rancher is a great machine but the 400 is a complete downgrade

Glad that you got it before it got worse! Much better to learn an atv by reviving it than to get it from a dealer.

Im you know it but just in case... in the tool kit there is a manual foot shifter attachment on the rancher ES . We found this out the hard way miles away from home as kids and it was stuck in 4th or 5th gear and wouldnt move luckily we rode dirtbikes too and noticed it had the provisions for a foot shifter and dug around and found it and go home in the dark . The electric shift is great when it works but when it acts up is a pita

Hi Darrell, I can't tell you how many time I reported those fckers through KZbin. Thank goodness your back and don't worry, your content is awesome and I know you will recover. Please don't open any files anyone sends to you ever again and spend some time on learning how to secure things so you don't end up in a bad situation. Nice to have you back.

Excellent way to slide the cylinder over the piston rings

The oil will always look high after these sit due to the oil from the cooler slowly falling back into the sump. You probably know already, but manual states run for a few minutes iirc, then check level.
@M.TTT.6 ай бұрын
at least thats as long as you have the oil cooler like on our rancher 400. Hopefully we never have transmission issues on ours.
@TheHomePros62216 ай бұрын
@@M.TTT. yes I actually changed the oil twice off camera to get all the water out. I used to have a rancher 400 and it was kinda a turd the 350 ranchers I had had much more pulling power, the 400 was nice with the auto trans but i I like the peppiness of the 350. I’ve herd bad things about the 400 trans but just take care of it and u should be fine👍
@M.TTT.6 ай бұрын
@@TheHomePros6221 ah nice, I've never rode a 350, but the 400 seems decently quick. Pulling power you may be right though auto vs manual or semi-auto.

The first thing you should do before taking the engine apart is put the engine in top dead center. Where the piston is level with the cylinder head cover and todo that there is a cap on the flywheel cover and as you rotate the engine over with the pull cord if it has one, there’s marking on the flywheel it should have a F and T mark make the T mark line up with the little notch on the engine
@TheHomePros62216 ай бұрын
Normally I would but I didn’t want to spin this engine over
