Seeing how easily you've accidentally drawn a sleek car makes you question how do car design focus groups manage to put out such hideous designs. All that brain storming just to come up the Pontiac Aztec.

Well...execution is far more complicated then an initial sketch or rendering. Many things did not happen correctly when they designed the Aztec and my suspicion is by the time they were to finalize the project, it was too late. Too many late decisions, program timing, etc..and then you end up rushing the execution in the end. Was a long time ago. I think you would agree GM has come a long way.

I always thought that rotating the paper can be bad because it would change your perspective on the car

No. It shouldn't. What changes your perspective when drawing cars is not having consistent construction lines. As long as you create your perspective construction lines correctly from the beginning, it will serve as a guide when drawing other details. Rotating the page helps you create the curves more naturally as you can keep the right motion and stroke from your hand and shoulder without it feeling awkward.

Bro you actually don't need maths for that.....I am preparing for transportation design with Biology as my choice. You need either a mechanical engineering degree or a transportation design degree to become an automobile designer

Hamza Manzoor see buddy first of all don't give me so much respect 😂 cuz I m just 16 but my coaching classes informed us that for transportation design the only degree u need are either mechanical engineering and transportation design degree. If u have any of them u are full chance to get into a transportation design field. And besides this NID asks for 65+ in 10th and 12th boards but this isn't the case in other colleges.😊
