Ms. Kathleen, I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos and the books. I just passed 5543 (Score 172)on my second attempt. I didn't study enough on the first try. But before the second attempt, I watched all the videos related to SpEd, including good words bad words, 5543 constructed response questions, 6 principles of IDEA...etc. Now I'm preparing for taking 5205 in March. The videos help me the most because you apply a lot of strategies (read the answer choices first, look for the good word/bad word...) to find the best answer. The contents are straightforward and easy to understand. Thank you!!

Hey 👋 My Colorado 5354 “Total Score” was 172…that seems like ample points. Took the test on 6.28.23 and am awaiting for the official “Score Report” to determine if I Pass/ Fail. Wasn’t sure if my Total Score is indicative of my pass/ fail status…the anticipation 😅

Looks like the passing score for your state is 151. Your unofficial score is usually the same as the official. Sometimes there are differences, but they are not drastic. So it looks like you passed. Well done!

Question! I am listening to the information on scores. West Virginia needs a 153 and Maryland needs a 163. If I decide to cross state lines and go to Maryland, will I have to test again till I get 163? (If I don't get that now) Thanks for amazing resources!
