FREE Microsoft Teams Project Management App

Does Microsoft Teams have a project management tool? Is there a Microsoft teams project management app free? Yes! Microsoft Teams does have a free project management app in addition to Microsoft Planner than can be used for lightweight project management. The Microsoft Teams Milestones app is a samem app built by Microsoft on the Power Platform. It can be added to Teams and used by all Team members. It also features a nice Microsoft teams project management dashboard that displays a summary of the project status. Looks the same as Tasks by Planner.

Slightly different than Planner. The visual dashboard was the primary advantage however, this is not as feature rich as planner.

Milestones retired as of Jan 2023.

I do not believe it's been retired. It will no longer be available directly in the Teams app store. You would need to download the install file from GitHub and load it manually.

It was. Microsoft has removed this from the app store. You have to manually install it if you want to use it
