Love this pattern. You do an excellent job with it. I haven’t gotten the gumption to try free motion quilting yet, but would love to learn. Thanks for sharing video.

Wow. Just beautiful. This is the first time I've watched someone quilting. Are you using some kind of guide for the design? How do you get the flowers so even and perfect?

Hi Evelyn! Thank you so much. I drew a straight line to guide my quilting path to achieve good spacing. But for the flowers, it all depends on my stroke and rhythm with the machine. But of course, I have practiced drawing the flowers on paper that's why I feel confident during the actual quilting. Hi there! It depends on your needs. I am using a JUKI F600 here but any machine that will allow you to drop or disengage the feed dog can do this.

Can a machine with only a backwards stitch do that? The little dogfeet may pull the fabric

Hi. You need to lower or drop the feed dog from the needle plate so the bottom of the quilt wouldn't touch it, in that way you can manually move the quilt in the direction you want. Plus a darning foot is needed so you could see the stitches around the needle.

Also if your machine doesn’t have the option to drop the feed dog… you can’t cover with darning plate.
