Free Motion Quilting on a Domestic: Swirls and Fillers Practice & Goals (Video #30) 2020

I am free motion quilting swirls and fillers on a domestic sewing machine. I discuss how a change in my approach with swirls led to IMMEDIATE improvement and is helping to boost my confidence. I am learning to free motion quilt on a domestic sewing machine which means that I am sitting down to FMQ on my home sewing machine and I am quilting freehand. As I learn how to machine quilt various designs, I will share my supplies, tools, tips, process, mistakes and give solutions for how I fix them and still end up with a beautiful free motion quilting project. I learn best from both tutorials and watching others free motion quilt so I create a mix of observation and video tutorials.
