I have a Jazz II and am having problems with my ruler foot, skipping stitches when sewing from the right to the left. Do you have any videos/solutions using this machine with a ruler foot? BTW it does great with the darning/free motion foot.

Do you like your Jazz II ? I’m thinking about getting one to do my quilting because of the huge throat space. But, I know I will miss having the auto thread cutter severely. I would really like one of the newer embroidery/quilting machines out there with the huge throats, but I cannot spend $5-15 k on it! Anyway, I just wanted to know if you like yours and whether you miss all the bells and whistles of a computerized machine.

Thread Painting, NOT free motion quilting. Two totally different things/techniques. And, actually what I saw demonstrated was FM Appliqué or even thread doodling. It’s unfortunate when incorrect terms are used. It’s too confusing to beginners. Who scripts these things anyway?! 👎🏻

Your hands are totally in the way when you are attaching the foot. Not helpful
