The only thing missing is the dark brown swatches on the windows to match the doors! It would be nice for more wood tones for the cabinets too but all in all, cool update!

the seemingly monkey bars were actually a new column and spandrel! both called "HBD Classic". also funnily im most excited about the lamps as i feel like we have so many fancy lights but not really many simple but modern/pretty ones, so im glad to have something new in that department + them lining up is soo satisfying. and that kitchen set is a dream.

Off the top of my head, you missed the new spandrel amd column (it's what everyone assumed were new monkey bars), a simple rectangular wall light, and the fireplace flooring should be under rugs.

Ooh I didn’t see the new fireplace, bar, lights, hexagonal tiles and picture frames when I l was checking out the items. I’m so excited!! I only have base game, so I can’t wait to use them!! I especially love the new kitchen counters and cabinets. I wish they had an indicator for the new items. Even I was struggling to find all of them, and I know my base game lol.

This new kitchen is what I've been wanting all along! The counter tops are lovely, and I really appreciate that they included gray and black tops, not just white. I think I have found my new go-to counters! 🤞

Def. love this drop! almost everything is so versatile weather you are doing a modern style home, traditional, or a modern traditional home. Its really great. I'm looking forward to actually using these in my current build. looks like it might solve a couple issues i was having haha.

This is an amazing drop and I especially love the new kitchen set! It's a timeless style without that automatic backsplash which is huge! I just really wish they had done the island counters the right way around so that the doors and drawers aren't underneath the counter but on the back where they actually are in real life.

I think I was most surprised by the carpet, since they usually don't do carpet much when they do floors, I mean we have tons of every other type of floors, but only a few carpets, even though we had tons of them in The Sims 2 especially. I do wish they would give us some indoor doors for the other wall sizes, especially the middle tall one, since I use it a lot, because most of the outdoor trims won't work with the short walls, though it makes no sense why. They also gave us new CAS items too, clothes and hair, as well as the baby hairs for some of the hairdos we already had, I noticed them all because I was creating a Sim today, but I forgot to check out the build/buy stuff. Also they call the ships, the pirate ship and the spaceship a jungle gym, so that is what they were talking about. On thing I noticed which made me mad today, was that in Debug for The Life & Death pack there is a swing set and monkey bars, what you called a jungle gym, that is in debug, but neither one can actually be used, which I find annoying. I would have loved to have been able to use them, they have a look that works well with the older look of the other items that we can use with that pack, that have an old look to them.

i LOVE the new counters but I wish we had gotten a new sidetable or bookshelf or barstool or something with the swatches as well or even just some living room items in general, it would have been nice to get enough furniture to add in more rooms and not just kitchens

I need them to fix the lighting issue with white modern furniture, there’s the same issue in the new marble set you’ve shown that the dream home decorator furniture has it just looks weird. Other than that I’m impressed everything looks good, I love to see more modernity being added to the game tbh.

Since it seems the new jungle gym is actually columns and spandrels I wonder if the old jungle gym would still work if you tried to merge it into the new thing you saw? I’d say no but columns are one of those things that sims really don’t interact with so I’ll give it a try

You were just missing the classic terracotta tiles from sims 1. They are usually an orange color but the main swatch is dark blue

These items are so pretty and exactly what the base game has been missing for a long time. So many base game items feel too "fancy" for most design styles. These are very versatile, however, why does EA hate purple so much? Good purple swatches are so severely lacking in the game without EPs and even then it is lacking. Multiple blue and green swatches on these and not a single purple. Its not my favorite color, but I do like to use it once in awhile but without some packs there's not much of it.

Can someone please reply to this message. I've. Noticed a couple of issues and I don't know if it's just my game or is it how it is now or something. Ok here is the first thing I noticed and that is there is dresses under the masculine tag. Making male character and was going through full outfits and there was dresses. I haven't played for awhile so I wasn't sure if it was a actual change or a miss tag. Also in outfits there is 3 identical outfits that seem to he of Indian look. As in they exactly the same outfit they are one after the other. I have taken photos on all the issues I have pointed out I just wanted to know have other seen these issues or are they actual issues.

Hi Gryphi! There's another new item that you haven't shown yet. I found a new wooden floor, I'm not sure that floor is new but I can assure you that I have never seen the new base game wooden floor before. Oh, the jungle gym is actually a new column and new spandrel, it has the same swatches as the doors and the windows. I also found a new couch (?) I'm sure I haven't seen that couch. Oh, and there is a new brick fence because it has cute pastel swatches, you should check that out! Please correct me if the items I mention here are not new. I can't remember all the base game items 🥲

The SDX drop isn't limited but the Blast from the Past event is, so you'll be able to get these items later on, but you'll miss out on the event items if you don't play it
