Yea the proofs in their sites. they have a 402 (i counted) blog post site called the cabin freedom. you can read their formats and interpret for every like 3 articles one of them has affiliate links. They have roughly 2-3 ads an article, other than that there are a couple different formats long - picture than paragraph(repeat) type post and shorter question and answer type post.

Sounds like a perfect idea and I hope you have already took flight and started ranking with the blog post. Typically a post only needs to be long enough to answer the question being asked. But, a good size post, typically, is about 2000 words. If the niche or post already has a ton of compitetion you may need to write up to 4500-5000 word article, thats helpful content, in order to out rank the competition. I run a blog on electric cars and I'm about 8 weeks in. I'm looking towards the future and thinking about monetisation methods. I've learnt the hard way creating websites that i thought would be popular and all failed ie: viral sites, gift sites etc I do make some money from them but like $10 a month. Rubbish ! I then realised Niche website are the way to go and I'm making some money from them and they are now starting to rank. It's totally okay to publish them all at once. It won't hurt your SEO. But it also doesn't hurt to spread it out a little. Here's the thing, the sooner the content is up, the sooner it can start ranking. But publishing 3 per weekday for 2 weeks won't slow you down much on ranking. That said, I don't know that it really helps anything either. Everyone has an opinion. But we and many others in this game don't really have a definitive answer on which is better.

Might be a silly question, but I'm just in the beginning stages. I have a few ideas based on the advice you guys give, but it looks like my niche is headed into a product that won't be around the $100 - $150 price you recommend. BUT, people buy more than one quantity of it. The niche where I want to be is where I can recommend fabrics that people can buy by the yard. I'm in the industry anyway and a lot of those fabrics pass through my hands with my work anyway, so I'd be doing something that I truly love. From being in the business for some time, the average order should be roughly the $100 - $150 that you recommend, but people would probably buy 5, 6, 7 yards (quantities) of fabrics. As stupid as it sounds and me obviously not knowing anything about Amazon Affiliates, would I still get the commission off the full order? What if people add other items for their project like accessories, thread, pins, needles, etc. within 24 hours? I'm correct to say I'd still get commission on that as well, correct?Also, I'm already an Amazon Seller and want to make sure Amazon won't look at this as a conflict. I would NOT recommend my own products but just want to make sure you can be both an Amazon seller and affiliate at the same time. Please forgive me if I sound clueless. I'm slowly getting to the Project 24 path but still have to get some things in order and clearly this question is one of them. I'm using my current website as a learning curve to learn the discipline to blog and to get my feet wet, but I really like your method of having one main site that's your main income and then having niche sites you put up as well while you wait to rank. Hey guys, do you have a video or a page on how to find the Amazon products you will link to on your website? Or do you exclusively limit those links to products you purchased yourself?

Note that I've seen the videos that say we want to choose products that are between $100 and $300. I'm just wondering whether you have any other criteria. I've seen videos by other people who can spend hours searching for "the perfect product" and I'm wondering whether it would be similar for you.

I want to buy the niche site School program but I'm not sure if it is a good fit for me. I have a shopify ecommerce site selling a handmade niche product. I have traffic and good sales but it's very time intensive. I've actually quit my full-time job to make the product and improve the site. I want to shift the focus to an affiliate driven site that compliments my main product. I have a few affiliate links on the site but I'm not sure how to build a related blog. I don't know if they should be completely separate and then link to each other.

out of curiosity, i notice on your sites you always have on the bottom of the page (or lower side of page) a statement about being an amazon affiliate. Is that you just being open or is that some kind of requirement? Which leads me to this question, are or can you use url shorteners for affiliates or is it frowned upon? Really like these vids, very informative.

Amazon requires that you have that legal language on the page. Amazon actually has a URL shortener available. Not sure if they allow third party shorteners.

Can the articles be a much shorter length say 1000 words if your target audience is a buyer that's already set to buy, but just between the fence on 1,2 or 3 different brands?
