I knocked at this Random house that i saw who had and overgrown Yard, A woman Answered and i asked if I could mow their lawn for free. She said yes. She told me that she tried mowing her yard with a weed wacker and on the process of it she ended up hurting her back. She managed to do a 3rd of her yard before her back ended up giving up on her. She was very happy and pleased because the city had been stopping on her house about her yard.

I highly respect a man who knows how to handle a shovel properly. It's a basic tool that too many guys are clueless about the proper technique. My late dad taught me as a kid how to use all sorts of them without killing my back or wearing myself out after a half hour.

I agree with you Darren. In my 61 yrs, I’ve had a couple times where me and other neighbors would help someone out in the neighborhood when trouble times would happen.Just the right thing to do.

Sorry to say people are not caring about their neighbor. At least knock on the door just to see if she is alive. I have seen a lot of yard cleanups and those that need help have neighbors close by. I live in an HOA subdivision and you have to get your garbage off the street. If it is late and the family is not home I take their garbage to their gate, it took me a few minutes and prevents my neighbor from getting a letter from our HOA.

The cleanup is as important as the mowing. I’ve seen lawn companies leave yards looking like hay fields. And many of them don’t edge the sidewalks and driveway. It’s all a part of lawn care services. You do an awesome job. Bless you.

See here is another example of what is the beef with her, her family and especially the neighbors. Senior citizen in our area yard don't go 1 week without being cut or leaves raked up.
