Marla, thank you. Thank you so much for your into comments about a painting that you love not getting the response you would expect. This happens to me as well. My favorites that I do seem to get the same response and the opposite is also true, ones I really don't like do well. Art is such a confusing world. Thank you for your share. I've only been painting for a couple of years, but I kind of laugh to myself when I post my abstract pastels in pastel groups on facebook and the response is less than "meh", yet when someone copies a photo pretty well, most people ohhhh and awe over them. It's just a different kind of creativity when there is simily a blank piece of paper with nothing to draw from other than ones intuition.

❤ I'm generally drawn to still life and not landscapes. As a paste list I have found my niche in still life. I loved the red ball jar as it was especially juicy and unique.
