Very useful tool! 👍 **Questions:** 1. What is the source of keywords that populates after user enters seed keyword ? Is it Pinterest autocomplete ? 2. What is the source of search volume for populated keywords? **Ideas for improvement:** 1. Create extended autocomplete list of keywords. To do this use alphabet soup method (user inputs “dog”, algorithm ads letter “a” after seed keyword and scrapes autocomplete results, then algorithm puts letter “a” before seed keyword, scrapes autocomplete results, then letter “b” is processed, etc.). You’ll also need to put “Seed keyword” and resulting keywords in separate columns if you want to implement this functionality. 2. Add competition level. I don’t know how it is done, and if it is adequate, but developers of Pin Dodo Chrome extension somehow did it. They have “high”, “medium”, “easy”, “low” values for this parameter. It is useful to know that “dog” has 5 mln searches, but I think you understand that it is impossible to rank for this keyword.

The source data is directly from Pinterest. It is the official Pinterest related terms. From their API. Volume data is also from Pinterest directly. Thanks for the suggestions! I will look into them.

Hi Ollie! great stuff! quick question - is there a way to add the "related tags" we have on the Pinterest Mobile App through PinGenerator? I feel I'm missing something here as I'm sure this is a must have for any Pin. Thank you!!!

Not at the moment. They don't have this option in the API yet. But when they do I will implement it.

Sir how can I see the search volume data, i already input the keywords but the search volume data is "N/A". i use free version of Pin Generator not the paid version

N/A means there is no search data for this keyword. This means that there is a low search volume for this keyword.

Hi Ollie. Say I have a mug to sell and it is targeted towards people turning 30 years old. How do i use this tool to give me the pins and keywords while I use images of my own mug?

You can use our Pinterest keyword research tool to find good search volumes for various keywords: pingenerator.com/pinterest-keyword-research-tool There is no option to filter by age though I'm afraid.
