I love the idea, I am going to start that and put a stand at my house. don't forget to root and share your fig cuttings so people get healthy figs this next spring.

What a fun time to visit in March and it is people like you that make a stand nice for the next visitors, thank you for the support. Together, we will bring back gardening culture. We have grown so fast and anyone from around the world can join the fb group. And yep, the rules are in place for the safety and ease of running such a large group, (daylight hours) really most common sense rules. We do have a sister group where you can ask for any plant or seed, just not on the stand group. Our hosts are not able to supply items asked for, and would take away from visiting a stand if people started to trade or swap in our group. Plus there are so many exchanges group for that. The sister group in Arizona is called Arizona East Valley Gardeners Exchange. This group does a "sending seeds" November-February in the state of Arizona for free when people send in a SAS=Self Addressed Stamp to whom participates.

I live on Altadena and have since 2004... I miss this family greatly. The new folks living there don't seem to care much for growing and they have such a beautiful setup.. the grapes, Barbados cherry, pomegranate, lemon grass, sugar cane, morninga, ECT .. a few things have died and I hope to talk with them to transfer some things to my house lol

Woohoo, I was just telling my husband that when it cools off I an going to be hitting the plant stands. I got this super small rooted mulberry tree from Michael, from his stand and it's nearly four foot now!

We are doing a contest to see who can grow the most moringa trees. There had been and even some seeds are at a few stands. The top 2 winners will get a lavender blooming plumeria. We really want to see this as some call it the "tree of life" in people's yards. It is all edible, love our hot summers and can grow in awful soil. Plus once it's established, it is drought tolerant.
