I'm proud to say that I've mastered the peyote tube, thanks to you! I now make my own peyote toggle clasps and beads. I love working with delicas. Thank you for the great videos. Keep them coming!

Woman you never cease to amaze me....what do you do in your spare time. haha I had to forget the tiny seed bracelet, as my arthritis won't allow me to handle it so I am trying to work with larger beads. I simply LOVE JUST WATCHING YOU WORK...so much skill...so smart...and those peyote 'thingies' WOW...got to try to make some of those sometime. thanks again. Junie from Nova Scotia Canada...hey, just sharing, and off track, but I just got a phone call today...I won the 'find the coffee cup contest' of the month. A FREE 100 DOLLAR GIFT CERTIFICATE TO OUR LOCAL DRUGSTORE. Nice eh?

JILL YOU ROCK SISTER! I LOVE this tutorial these are soooo cute. Even though I have made even count peyote rings for about 2 years now I've never thought about taking it a step up and creating peyote tube earrings. These are just what I was looking for. You are very talented. Thanks for sharing🌺

I so enjoy your videos, just got my beads together to work one of your projects. I have made one peyote tube as an ending to a beaded bracelet, thanks to you. I've woven beaded bracelets using different endings, but now thanks to you, I will use the peyote tube to finish all of my bracelets. Thank you, thank you Jill for taking the time to post your videos, you are the best! :)

Hi Jill, Love your tutorials, you've given me loads of inspiration. Just wanted to mention another great idea for "strengthening" these peyote tubes. Try using rivets! Just a dab of E6000 on the edge of the rivet, insert into the tube and as you say "voila!". Keep up the fab work. Big hugs

Oh my goodness. That idea for using the straw for support is genius. Thank you Jill. I use to glue eyelets in the openings and did not like the mess with the glue. The straws are perfect amd I use clear straws because of the irregular shape of the beads that I use you are not able to see them. Keep up the great videos!!!

12:39 "I tend to make really ugly loops." Hahaha. I sooo love that you said that. Me too...can't seem to keep up my wirework skills. I bought one of those tools. It's fabulous. Makes a perfect, round closed lop.

I am making these peyote tubes now, thank you for the good tips.... are the findings sterling or pewter? Sterling is so expensive, I am sticking with plated for now. Beautiful nice necklace you are wearing.

Jill, I love your videos! Do you always use Delicas when making tubes like these? I have not invested in many but have oodles of toho beads. Also is it best to make them with 11/0? Thanks for all your work in teaching us new projects!
@JillWisemanDesigns
@JillWisemanDesigns 9 жыл бұрын
Darin Martin You can definitely use your Toho beads to make them! The Delicas are really brick-shaped which makes them the easiest for beginners - the beads really pop into place easily. But there's no reason you can't use any other beads with the technique!

When you stitch through the silk or put seed beads inside the tube, how do you thread the beaded tube onto your chain etc? Doesn't it push to one side?

Hi Jill I just wanted to ask where did you get the tool you used to cut the wire for the earrings. I think that's a pretty cool device to have.

Love this idea...but the link given is a DEAD link. It says, "404 Error - Uh oh, looks like the page you are looking for has moved or no longer exists." Do you have a more updated link or video on how to make the peyote tubes? Like, how many rows by how many columns?
