I thought id give you an update on my custom Peterbilt Tri drive Tamiya Grand Hauler King Hauler 1/14 Rc Truck build built from spare leftover parts from my current Grand Hauler Build.
In this I show you how to improve your steering lock on your rc truck with one easy trick, I want better steering lock on my tridrive truck so to me its essential, its a quick mod, takes a few minutes so lets sort the steering and let me show you a comparrison

Scotty, I wish that post COVID overseas Shipping wasn't a Gazillion bux.... The RC4WD Angled Rod Ends are DIRT CHEAP.... here. It would cost 5X as much to ship to the UK! 😖😠 I bend the stock Rods as well. I hope that works on my 2 Euro Trucks, both Mercedes. I have to go back. I forgot to comment on the Scania Video. I was having trouble figuring out which girl was WHICH! And who had what. I guess I should watch again! 😋

I can still get the rod ends here as we have an rc4wd supplier here in the UK 😊 and I have one daughter, I'm building this for her, she has autism and learning disabilities and doesn't understand much but she loves to play with the trucks and crawlers so I thought she deserves her own 😊 I do have another daughter but she's grown up and at college now 👍

I thought you had mentioned another Daughter.... I have High Functioning Autism. I didn't know it until I was 40!! Being treated as a bad seed, growing up is something that I'm glad your little girl doesn't have to experience.

Most definitely, it's challenging daily and it makes me wonder if I'm on the spectrum as I recognise a lot of traits in her and my behaviour wasn't the best growing up, as long as she is happy.. I'm happy 😊👍

.... I can tell you this much, as a confirmed Case of Adult Outset, High Functioning Autism Spectrum. There's a fine line between what I've got, and Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome Patients generally have knowledge ABSORPTION, and motor skills issues, and often Violent, anti Social skills. Also known to have no "switch" in their Brains, that tells them that something is Dangerous, Immoral, Unlawful, Unsafe, or Fatal!! They lack the Brain Processing to tell them "NO! That's Wrong. All the Way up to "NO! That WILL Kill you!!!" These Patients will even do something as asinine like GRAB an Electric Stove Coil...... JUST TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS! 😵‍💫😲 ....PRIMARILY. High Functioning Autistic Patients (like me), generally have good motor skills, and decent Knowledge Absorption Skills. We learn faster... WHEN WE HAVE something exciting about the Task, or a passion for the Subject. (RC building kits or Model Railroading!) Our big Autistic glitch is - Knowledge RETENTION!! Opposite of Asperger's. We have to be taught the same thing at least 4-8 times each!!! Frustrating for Kids, more Frustrating for Parents, Teachers, Employers Rozzers and Militry. MOST really don't understand the extreme Challenges, different Learning Curves and Social Interaction issues..... STILL a bloody DREAM these days!!! Anyone who bitches about it - would be HORRIFIED of the CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE that my Generation had to endure. Imagine starting the 4th Grade, in 1972.... I just finished the 3rd Grade with straight As - because by some MIRACLE, I had the Right Teacher! She wasn't special, or specially Trained. She just had the Patience, Heart and Determination to give the extra time, the multiple explanations, and MOST importantly.... The Positive Reinforcement when anything is done CORRECTLY!!! An Autistic Kid - or Adult without Positive Reinforcement, is either a Criminal or DEAD! That was the last year I ever got that Treatment. From 4th Grade through 12th... I was a Straight D Student, OFTEN in the Counselor's Office or the Nurse's Office. Discipline and MORE Discipline.... was as effective as Windscreen Wipers on a fucking SUBMARINE!!!!! Just treated as a BAD SEED, there was no evidence that anything could be wrong with ANYTHING but me until the 12th Grade....... I don't know if there's an equivalent to the U,S. SAT Exam, given to every High School Senior since 1975. 1600 is a perfect score, zero errors. 1155 was the National average In the 12th Grade, I had one C, six Ds, and an F.... But scored a 1537 on my SAT Exam!!! Everybody freaked out, none more than my Parents. My Dad's Lawyer got the State to issue an Official I.Q Test. My I.Q. WAS 158...... 4 Points under Albert Einstein and Werner Von Braun!! My capacity for learning was in the top 1/2 of a percent in the Country. However my capacity for comprehending Core Knowledge (Reading, Writing, Rithmatic), was that of a Mental Retard!!!! ~ I'm an Old Fart and don't care! I will USE the terms that I spent the past 53 years learning the hard way. So in 1983, I got into a good College with a 1.1 Grade Point Average - SOLEY based on my SAT, I.Q., and ASVAB Scores. (ASVAB is U.S. Militry Vocational Aptitude Test). I scored in the TOP 2 Percentile in the Country - in COMPUTERS! Again, 1983, and I had never touched a Computer before! I did all that, on my own merit, without having to even finish High School!!! 😜 They couldn't Teach me.... Got a College Degree, without ANY assistance, with a 3.88 Grade Point Average! COLLEGE excited and inspired my Fuked Up Brain!! 🤣😂 Was Recruited by the US Air Force, based on my ASVAB Computer Competence. Immediately skipped to the Rank of E-4, Sergeant! Just in time to go play in Saudi Arabia in 1989. Scotty....... I'm not telling you all this to Brag, feel superior or ANY sinister reason. Much of it was embarrassing and extremely difficult! I laid all this out, for the benefit of your Daughter!! 😊 She NEEDS to know that, She lives in a much better time to have to deal with this. I want her to see, that DESPITE a cruel Learning Disability.... The bits of our Brain that DO WORK, are Better than nearly everyone else's!!! 😎❤️👌 It's just going to take work to tap into that. I'm confident that She can. Before ANYTHING else, She needs to find one thing that She can get behind, enjoy and EXCEL at it. Normal Humans only use 16% of their Brain..... That leaves a LOT untapped for almost anyone who deals with Brain/Learning Disorders!! 👍👍 It's NOT easy. If it was, everybody would be a Genius! I'm technically NOT a Genius. Watching me tackle Maths will PROVE that. But my capacity in a few areas, IS Genius Level. Your Little Girl (sorry, Don know Her Name), unless seriously Brain Damaged by some outside source, CAN Learn SOME Specialised Skill, that could carry Her through Life, self supported and proud!! If she's good at Composition and Grammar like many Autistic People are, She could spend Her Life, as a side pleasure, being a GRAMMAR NAZI like me,laughing at 80% of the Population who can't get a grip on easy conjunctions like ..... The difference between TO, TOO and TWO! MY biggest pet peeve. Hey, THEY laughed at US as Children...... Give her a HUG from me! (Unless of course She's in the Spectrum area that despises Human contact. Then just tell Her that She's AWESOME! 👊😊 And I can't wait to see Her Driving Her Rig with Daddy. Must be proud moments. Sorry for the NOVEL! If 5 percent of all my faffing about here does ANY good, it will make my Day.
