Oh my gosh, I think I just saw an angel! Callie is so cute, she looks like a little puppy dog. Just her dark eyes and her black nose and it looks so big when you’re looking straight at her she is just adorable! I wanted to ask you, do you change out their hay barrel every day and waste all that hay or do you recycle it or change it at certain times of the week? I was wondering this because mine eat from a bag. But I am changing up their cage, where it is going to be huge because their cage is not very big. It is enough for them, but I would definitely Like to give them more room and more Heidi’s and cozy things because they only have hammocks in their cage unless they’re out on the floor. Love your videos thank you for sharing as always. And PS do you have a video of giving Bath time? I’ve seen the one on clipping nails, which is a doozy with my boys lol. I hope you get back to me! Rescue or breeder, do loads of research about space requirements and diet and make sure you have the time and money. Get 2 or more

Doesn't your piggies like the seeds of bell-pepper? Ours loved that above everything (together with lettuce and fresh grass) and they wouldn't eat too wet or soft things, like the bell-pepper itself, and absolutely no tomatoes. Our mum said we could give them some, but not to much, since most seeds are rich in fat. I still feel sad if I have to throw pepper-bell seeds away, because there are no piggies around who could be happy to have them...

Hey guys! I'm an exotic pet (which guinea pigs are considered as, hilariously enough) health care specialist, and I know around this time of year there are a lot of people considering joining the Guinea Pig parent family! I just wanted to encourage anyone thinking about getting a pig as a pet this holiday to *always make sure you get two.* Many new pig owners aren't usually aware of this, but guinea pigs are herd animals and actually suffer great loneliness, not to mention boredom, without the company of a fellow guinea pig. Some of my clients in the past have thought that keeping their guinea pig company will be enough for the pig to be happy, but this is not the case. Guinea pigs very, very much need to company of another fellow pig to keep them happy and give their lives enrichment. Some guinea pigs I've worked with have unfortunately died after being permanently separated from a bonded cage mate, as guinea pigs *need to company of one another,* so it's very important that you make sure you have two pigs to keep one another company! It's also a ton of fun watching two or more cuddle and play and interact with one another. And please, always consider adopting a rescue instead of buying one at a pet store-google can help you find guinea pig rescues in your state, and there are a TON of rescue piggys out there needing a family of their own! Good luck to anyone considering joining the guinea pig family! ❤ And BTW this is freaking adorable and your pigs look so happy and content! Love to your herd from me and mine!

Depends how you mean 'not getting along' - if they are fighting and drawing blood or causing injuries they do need to be separated. But if it is not this and they are just confrontational or argumentative with each other then a bigger cage and spacing out of things they don't like sharing (hideys, hay areas, pellet and water stations) can really help.
