Thank you John. I need to learn more about Power BI. I’ve created many automated spreadsheets with VBA updates & automated refreshes. I could do so much with Power BI. There’s so much to learn. There may be a new report in the near future. Could I use power BI to explode a BOM or should I use Excel VBA? This may be too vague of a question. What method would you use to explode?

Hello, do you know if there is a way to filter as Slider when you press on a graph. I mean.. to filter the information and not only shadowing the sections on the other graphs

@@LarissaSilva-pp1qd You have to select the visual you want to use as filter. Then click on Format tab > Edit interactions. All your visuals will light up three icons, each of them indicating what you want them to do. Options are: 'Filter' (this is the one you are looking for), then 'Highlight' which is the default one, and 'None'. Hope this helps.

Hi, I want to apply more level of filtering. For example if I select Qarter, then I can see data of MAR/APRIL/MAY. Now without removing Quarter Filter I want to apply only March filter. Inside March If possible I can apply some other filter but March filter should not removed. As of Now once we change March Filter Quarter Filter is not applicable. Please help me to solve this.

hi John, the power bi just got a new update, im having trouble making the bar charts stay in place when we filter.. I'd want it to stay the same, but change in greyed out view as per 1:02. please let me know how i to do it. thanks
