@darnlarz18, no, I didn't pay for anything for this tour. you will need a Singapore visa in order for you to join the tour because you will be actually entering Singapore and exiting Changi airport. However, at the Gardens by the Bay, there are sections which require separate fee, those are not included in this tour. Just keep in mind that this tour is actually sponsored by Changi Airport, Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Airlines if I am not mistaken.

There's a loophole to this, so even though you're supposed to complete the tour, meaning you go back to the Airport with the group, there's an answer in the FAQ that "In the unlikely event that participants are separated from the tour group, the particpant has to make his or her own way back to the airport at his or her own cost.", so you still can. They said that they are very strict with the time so if you didn't make it back to the bus after the 30 mins given then the bus will leave without you and you'll have to ride public transpo to get back to the airport.

For transit passengers, you are only allowed to clear immigration once a day (clear immigration out and in of Changi Airport). Hi Zacc. We have a 24 hour lay over. We are even staying in a hotel in the airport. From my understanding, if you step out of the airport, that's when you have to go to immigration. How about if you just want to go to Jewel, do you still have to go to immigration? My other question, the complimentary ride to the city from the airport, do they offer complimentary ride from city back to the airport? We thought of going to the city at night, because we want to experience Singapore street food at night. Do they have specific time range for the complimentary shuttles to the city and back? We did this in Korea on one of lay overs there. Unfortunately, it was snowing. We couldn't enjoy walking around.

During the tour, the tour guide will still allow some short personal time to take pictures. Hence, the pace is just nice. Does the tour require you to check in immigration again when the tour ends? I have 16 hours of layover so I will still be having a lot of free time. Thinking of after the tour ends when they drop me at the airport I can go back to the city. But I’m not sure if they will force you do go through the immigration again due to the tour rules.

@brokenomad, yes, you need to show your passport and x-ray your hand luggage when entering Changi Airport transit area again, check out the video at 15:15 onwards. Usually a lot of participants will roam around Jewel or elsewhere in Singapore once they are back from the tour before entering Changi Airport. Just keep in mind that transit passengers can only exit Singapore Airport once a day.

@TawfiqHasan91, the tour guide may ask you to put your carry-on luggage to the Baggage Storage available in T2/T3. Yes, there is a small fee depending on the size for the baggage storage. Cause during the tour, the carry-on luggage are not allowed to keep in the bus, this means one got to carry it along the trip.
