@@bob7975 That is well known, but what is less know is that companies also get a rebate on debt... Meaning that if they have loan, while the loan amount is put on the balance sheet, the interest cost, aka finance cost, goes on the result. Meaning its deducted from profits before taxes. What that means is that in practicality the rate of corporate tax is the rate of rebate on the cost of the loan. Example, 20% corporate taxes, you pay 100$ in interest, but you get back 20$. In short a 20% rebate on the cost of interest (not principal though, just fyi).

Everything you need to know about Curtis Yarvin can be summed up by doing a quick image search of him.

Yarvin also said in a video how he wanted kids to run towards school shooters and take them out. Basically turning them into little soldiers when they're 10 or younger. Sounds a lot like Nazi Germany to me. Pretty sickenning. I can't remember the name of the video, but it was in a video where he was talking about how a monarchy is the best thing because the 'common people' aren't intelligent enough to govern themselves. Completely unamerican and completely undemocratic. He also believes in eugenics and that Asians and Indians are inherently more intelligent and therefore worthy, and that black people are the opposite. This man is one of the things that is most wrong with this world. He and others who think alike are everything that is wrong with this world.

Funny how, as always, the Overton window need only expand in the right-wing authoritarian direction. Not, you know, that pesky other direction.

It is amazing how he describes the ladder he was given, the very ladder he and his ilk have drawn up behind them so that no one else can make it that way, all the while decrying "why isn't it that way anymore???"

This guy is such a demon. He starts out by describing a life of "greater economic outcome" and then says it's supposedly a thing that was leveraged against him? Is the top half of his dome full of air? Sounds like a spoiled kid honestly.

"Philanthropy" now equals billionaires contributing huge sums of money to their own charitable foundations, and then using that as a giant tax write off. Foundations where they effectively control the board, and can direct the spending how they see fit. This guy is just upset that the secret is out. Jerk.

It's not that you live under an oligarchy just now. You now live under a different oligarchy than the that which held sway a decade ago, in terms of political position.
@Rockyzach8816 сағат бұрын
Absolutely, but this country does have an interesting economic history. Don't ever fall for the "it's always been like this" brainwashing. It's powerful and causes people to literally talk down to themselves. The population is under a spell.

Every time you share this dude, i cant help but wonder if he is Jeff Bezos with a weird bald cap on and some prosthetics, and slightly altering his voice to sound a little deeper. ... cause even his timbre/speech pattern and flow are identical and he literally always sounds like hes advocating for Bezos interest directly and the rest of his financial class... and thats absolutely it
