Meaning that if they have loan, while the loan amount is put on the balance sheet, the interest cost, aka finance cost, goes on the result. Meaning its deducted from profits before taxes. What that means is that in practicality the rate of corporate tax is the rate of rebate on the cost of the loan. Example, 20% corporate taxes, you pay 100$ in interest, but you get back 20$. In short a 20% rebate on the cost of interest (not principal though, just fyi).
