@@nowyoushred I was always more into Zeppelin, Floyd, etc. but over the last 10 years the Dead have become my favorite band. Jerry wasn't in your face or showy at all so it was easy for people to underestimate his brilliance. Now I realize there's an understated brilliance to his playing and writing and with the improv you have hundreds of versions of their great songs to listen to. It took me a while to really get into the Dead, but now that I've put in the time they are amazing. I'd love to hear your version of Franklin's Tower and Eyes of the World.

With this backing track & staring at a "B Mixolydian" scale (2 octaves only...lol), dare I say that I'm playing something different and cool. What a great surprise! Thanks for the track and info!

would love to hear your take/see your visualizations on a "reba" jam. which I think is Eb > F, Eb Lydian works really well over top. usually starts soft and builds to a huge crescendo. many versions out there, but this one is pretty good kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHOlhKSKjKuapKs @@nowyoushred

Grateful Jam Renzo,... I'm able to stretch my abilities a bit and jam on this tune. Working on some call and answer and trying the Mixolydian up and down the fretboard. Can you do a "Shorty Jam" of you playing with this track please? I always learn a lot more watching you for 30-45 seconds than me trying to figure it out on my own.
