Actually, I was brought here because I also encountered a student who chose a free conversation. However, our session didn't end so well because I had a hard time making topics for us since he required "not to ask questions frequently" esp personal questions. I did my best but I came to that point, when I ask something personal specifically asking, "May I ask what is your job?". The moment I asked it, I feel so dumb coz it feels like I stepped into a landmine. So my question triggered him, and he started to say bad things about me...and leave the class after a seconds. So I was brought here to make some improvements and to know different techniques in handling rude students like this particular student of mine. And thanks to your tips. I will surely take this advise.

Thank you for this video, I also had an experience with my 2nd student and it was also a free talking but he appeared to be rude and got mad because I asked him again about what he said because his pronunciation is not clear. He dropped the call after that.

@@mekhanmordeno7121 wala.na pong way ngayon para makita ang breakdwon ng stars eh. Machrcheck po siya pagkakatapos ng cut off. Kaya better po after eveey lesson, check your rankingnpo sa dashboard. Pag bumaba ang rank, ibig sabihin po mababa binigay ng last stu.

Magbibigay pa din po ba ng message pag 5 minutes lang yung student? Free talking po kasi tapos wala siyang gusto pag usapan. Nagtanong ako kaso ayaw po siguro yung topic ko kaya umalis ng classroom. Di ko po alam kung lalagyan ng message.

Free talking sometimes is okay, usually, I get FC during sudden classes. Im on my second week. im kind of bummed because once my free reservation was over, ive got no new bookings 😭. I got 27 5stars and 1 4 out of 31 last week. So I guess, I did well somehow. but then... no new bookings.. Im afraid, next cut off, I would have to do sudden classes straight. I hope not forever 🤧

Naka encounter ako ng isang student na hindi daw sya beginner tapos may request sya na napa ka strict nya, akala ko nga boss sya ng NC kaya mejo kinabahan ako dahil isa sa mga request nya is ako ang mag execute ng topic na paguusapan, so nagbgay ako ng ilang tooics, ayaw naman nya, as in napakaka rude nong student na nagagalit na sya eh wala nmn akong ginagawa so, ang ginawa ko nag ask ako ng question if she is a teacher like me or boss ng NC, sabi nya hindi, i am not a teacher and i am not the boss of NC. So eto na bumawi ako don nong nalaman ko na hindi pala sya boss ng NC nawala kaba ko, ang ginawa sinabi ko na im about to flare up i thought u r d boss of NC im so sorry for that then kunwari nmn na nagddrama na ako, nagpasalamat ako sa kanya for being a strict pero echus lang un para tumigil na sya tapos sya pa nga nagsorry for being strict tapos ito pa sabi ayaw daw nya ung binabasa lang ng teachers ung script so ang sinabi ko, that is not my strategy i am here to teach them learn the english language pronounce the words properly but i even follow the script actually, i am not after the salary i am here to teach the japanese and thats really my passion, ayon natuwa sya at tawa ng tawa, she likes me daw tapos bbgyan dw ako ng 5 stars ako naman oh thank u i really appreciate. Hayyyy! Grabeng experience kailangan talaga dto sa NC maging mapagkumbaba lagi, dapat alert lagi na kaya nating ihandle mga student na ganito, wish ko nga wala na yang free talking,. Hi Nanay Jane, I just turned 1 week in Native Camp and SKL experience ko, I am on standy while watching this video. And BOOM! Someone enter my class for FREE TALK! I told my student if he has a topic on his mind, he told me that Im a lady and I must talk about me first, I told him if I could suggest topic for him and he just ended the conversation. Is this okay or it will affect my rating?

Yes po. Madaming natatagalan talaga po sa pagstandby. Pero kapag nakabuild ka na po ng magandang profile at ratings, di ka na po affected kahit dumami pa ang teachers. =)

yes po medyo natatagalan po now kasi po lockdown most of the teachers are inside their home the whole day and minsan po pansinin nyo po ung nasa upper left ng screen nyo may nakalagay po doon na no. of students and no. teachers on standby. pero sa experience ko po di ko na nakitang masmadami ang teachers on standby kaysa sa mga students na naghahanap ng bookings. regarding naman po sa kung ano dapat gawin, be patient lang po may papasok naman po anytime basta magtyaga lang po. Salamat. mister na po pala ito ni nanay jane. heheheh

At need ba mag review kong 5 mins nalang left.. pero kong ayaw naman niya mag review ang gusto niya mag usap nalang daw kami.. ok lang sa company na di mag review? lalo na pag may edad na student parang ayaw nila turuan pa they are just after na may makausap.. please i need your advice.. papano i handle? thanks

For questions po, kung taga saan lang naman po I answer it, and kung ano ang job ko, sinasabi ko din. Basta po hindi super personal info. Kapag feee talk po no need to review unless talagang tinuruan mo po ang stu pero kung chikahan lang po, no need.

One month na ako sa native camp ma'am ...nasanay nalang ako sa personal questions ng student...kadalasan tinanong sa aking kung may boyfriend naba ako or married ba...ang iba nanghihingi ng facebook account. Never ako nag review sa free talking ma'am. Pero usually mag introduce ako ng mga new phrases or gagamit ng advance vocabularies...

I also encountered a very rude student, the whole class was about him namomroblema on how to pronounce my name.
