I can say that the Cash App package was completely free and fast on the refund, a great and easy tool for those with no complicated processing.

Went to use CashTaxApp again this year and I'm back as I am not impressed with this app and would not recommend it this year. Won't let us file in my state(says our state isn't accepting state taxes yet), which is weird as it did last year.

cash app burned me. Someone withdrew $600 from my account, and cash app did absolutely nothing about it. will never use an unsecure app to handle money ever again.

in regards to taxact and tax hawk, you said it's $15 to file state, and that includes everything. So, I have dividends, interest, a foreign tax credit and a capital gain; it would, still be just $15 to file state?

TaxHawk charges a flat fee for state. TaxAct will cost you for dividends, interest, etc. You also need to check the updated end of season pricing to see if it's updated.

I heard cashapp doesn't file to multiple states. Can I use cashapp(for free) in 1 state and a different app for the other state?

No, you have to use the same tool for Federal and state returns because most of your state return is simply carried forward from your federal.
